Lewis Carroll (1832 - 1898)
Lewis Carroll was an English author who created a number of classic children's stories, including Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. This book was the most popular children's book in the world in 1932. Lewis Carroll was not only highly regarded for his fantasies and tales of dream worlds, but was also a mathematician, photographer and logician. He created a number of fine photographs, the most notable being those of the actress, Ellen Terry and poet, Alfred Tennyson.
