Alicia Boole Stott (1860 - 1940)
Alicia Boole Stott, better known as "The Princess of Polytopia," was a British mathematician who not only introduced the meaning of the word “polytope,” but was one of the first to explore the fourth dimension. Alicia’s findings made an impact in the geometrical world in the early 1900's, earning her an honorary doctorate. Her work is exhibited at many museums and universities throughout the world and continues to influence others to this day. Educational and inspirational, Alicia's discoveries continue to inspire and mesmerize the minds of many, and are worthy of a spot in the Hall of Genius.
