What is your return and exchange policy?
Return Policy
Cotton Babies will gladly refund your money less a 10% restocking fee for products returned in the original, undamaged package and in
resaleable-as-new condition within 30 days of purchase. Proof of purchase is required. Washed, used & clearance items are non-returnable.
Packages must be returned complete, including free items.
Exchanges may be made without incurring a restocking fee as long as no refund is necessary.
Unless we made a mistake with your order, you are responsible for return or exchange shipping charges.
An RMA number is required for all returns.
Defective Merchandise
Defective products are usually exchanged or repaired by the product manufacturer. If you are not sure how to contact the manufacturer of the product you
purchased, please contact us.
What is the warranty on bumGenius, Flip and Econobum products?
Cotton Babies will stand behind the workmanship and materials in a properly cared for product for one year from the date of purchase. The Cotton Babies Warranty covers all components of our products including the snaps, lining, hook & loop closures, elastic and waterproofing. The warranty is extended to the original purchaser of the products only. Proof of purchase from an authorized retailer is required. To make a warranty claim, product must be sent at customer's expense to their distributor for examination of workmanship and materials. After reviewing the diapers, the distributor may replace the diaper or provide you with simple instructions for resolving the problem you are having. If you live in the United States, your distributor is Cotton Babies.
Except when caused by manufacturing or component defect, this guarantee does not cover leaking, diaper odor or normal wear/tear. Warranty is void when:
- The washing instructions have not been followed.
- The diaper has been altered.
- Any of the following has been used in conjunction with the use/care of the product:
- Water temperatures exceeding 100°F or 60°C
- A detergent containing additives (enzymes, brighteners, whiteners, dyes, perfumes, essential oils) or natural soap
- Fabric softeners
- Any caustic substance
- Diaper rash cream
- Product was purchased through an unauthorized retailer. Please verify your retailer prior to purchase.
All return/exchange requests must include the following information:
- A return merchandise authorization number written on the outside of the package (click here
to get your number). After this form is completed, you will be emailed an authorization number that should be written on the outside of your package.
You can check the status of the return online by going to the same url (http://www.cottonbabies.com/returns.php)
and entering the authorization number and your zip code.
We will update the status of your return in the system when we receive the package and again when it is processed.
- A separate note in the package with the following information: name, current mailing address, products included in your package, the reason for the request and what you would like us to do.
- The address to use when shipping your returns is available after you have completed the request for an RMA number.
Forms of Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and PayPal. You are welcome to pay with a check or with American Express by checking out and completing payment using PayPal as your payment method.
This option is only available with online orders.

Cotton Babies incorporates physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information, including Secure Sockets Layer ("SSL") for all financial transactions through the Site. We use SSL encryption to protect your personal information online, and we also take several steps to protect your personal information in our facilities. Access to your personal information is restricted. Only employees who need access to your personal information to perform a specific job are granted access to your personal information. While we use industry-standard precautions to safeguard your personal information, we cannot guarantee complete security. 100% complete security does not presently exist anywhere online or offline.
