Perfect for the first several months of breastfeeding when it seems like your breasts are changing size every hour, and they are!
This wonderful bra has a sports bra style back that provides excellent upper-middle back support. Easy to open and close snap down cups that drop down from the breast, giving access for the baby. Made of a fabric blend of 92% cotton and 8% spandex.
When light to moderate support is all you need.
This is a VERY comfortable bra. I would recommend it. The straps are comfortable, which is normally an issue for me, and it almost feels like you aren't wearing a bra.
These were by far my favorite nursing bra! I hated how the inside "cups" in most bras would itch and bunch and there is no problem of that with these since they actually don't have that inside layer. They were like wearing a cloud. The support was sufficient for me and the bra stretched everywhere it was needed when my breasts were full. The nursing pads always stayed put and I loved the low cut in front. They do have a sport style back so you can't wear low back tops (like a cami style tank), but except in the height of summer that was never a problem.
I got a size as directed. Since the size covers a range, it's not an exact science. My bra does not fit well, and when I'm engorged, it's painful. I recommend getting a size bigger than you think you'll need.
I love this bra. It is supportive and easy to use for nursing, and the design keeps your breasts separated and individually supported (no sports bra "uni-boob"), meaning no sweating between the breasts. It's also possible to wear v-neck shirts with this bra. Also, after wearing sports bra-style maternity bras for 9 months, it was great to put on a bra that actually made me look and feel sexy. The only downside to this and other Bravado bras is the slip-on style (no back or front clasps), which makes it more difficult to put on without chafing against sore nipples.
I love my Bravado bra, it's perfect for the post partum period and for just lounging around. It's super comfortable and has held up well over the last year.
