I'll admit that with postpartum depression following my child that cloth diapering ended up not being the best option for me, but I had bought the planet wise reusable bag in medium. It doesn't get the same hard everyday use it would have cloth diapering but I still find it to be one of my most valuable parenting purchases. It's my go-to travel bag for the wet beach clothes/pool adventures, the inevitable toddler accidents, the traveling carsickness cleanup bag, etc. It's nice to be able to throw it in with all that nasty wash I'll have to do and not worry about it. It's always in my diaper bag. I've owned it for 4 years. Still useful with two kids. No regrets.

Rating:

So disappointing! I have one medium and one large Planet Wise, and I'm not happy with the construction or durability. The medium is a good size for a day at daycare (cloth diapers), but doesn't have a handle! The large has a handle, but the webbing is already ripping after only a couple of months of home use (the large is way too big for daycare). With one baby & a 2-day wash cycle, this bag has not seen enough weight or use for that kind of failure. I thought I wanted the 2-layer construction of the Planet Wise, but it turns out that they take forever to line dry. I bought some 1-layer ones to round out my stash, and they've quickly become my favorites. They dry so quickly, they have handles, they're a great size for daycare, and they were half the price! I will not be buying more Planet Wise wet bags.

I have had two different sizes if this wet bag and both had zipper issues. I think planet wise needs to stop putting on cheap zippers. I ended up finding a "how to" tutorial online and made my own wet bag for a fraction of the cost. I love the fabrics they offer, but not worth it.

I used 2 of these bags with my first child as bags to hold the wet/dirty diapers until wash day. I have had them for about 2 years now and am pregnant with child number 2. While these bags are nice for wet swim suits or something from the beach, I cannot recommend them as diaper bags. First and most importantly, (we have OS BG 4.0s) YOU CANNOT WASH THESE WITH YOUR DIAPERS as it states on this website. The PlanetWise website specifically says NOT to wash them in hot water. Only cold or warm as you will wreck your bags. So, first time I washed one of my bags, in hot water, like it says here (wash with your diapers!) a lot of the color leeched out of it. Secondly, if you get the outside of the bag wet, which is very easy to do when trying to stick a diaper cover in there that you just used a diaper sprayer on, it defeats the purpose of the bag. I also don't find that it does a great job with odor and I wash my diapers every other day. I will be looking for something new now that kid number 2 is on the way. Oh, also, for washing, you cannot dry the bags in direct sunlight outside, so for people who like to "sun" their diapers, you have to have a shady area.

I purchased this medium sized wet bag 1 year ago and began using it when I started my daughter on cloth diapers. Initially, I loved the bag. After MANY washes, I can safely say that this product does not hold up well. The interior liner has not been waterproof for a very long time. Not just at the seams, but the lining itself is permeable. I went with this company after searching out reviews. This was the one to buy, according to the majority of consumers. Boy was I wrong in following that advice. After rinsing a diaper and placing it in the bag, the bag has been known to leak and drip on the floor. GROSS. (Please keep in mind, I followed the care instructions diligently, and always let the bag hang dry.) I have since turned to a shop on ETSY (SweetBobbins), where I happily purchased a couple of WATERPROOF bags that have not had one single leak since I purchased them almost 11 months ago.

I bought the medium size bag. I've fit about eight bumGenius Freetime diapers in it so far, with room to spare (and the Freetime's are very bulky!). I've washed and dried it about three times and have had no problems with it coming apart. I was a little leary because all of the other reviews stating that they washed it and it came apart but I have had no problems. It's an excellent bag & super cute!

Rating:

I love this bag! I use it to put my 2 yr old niece CD in. I leave it by the toilet and after 2 days no one in the house even knew it was in there! ( 6 adults ) Awesome wet bags! I would definatly buy again!

Rating:

I purchased this bag back in June. I send my bag to the sitters every morning to transport our used diapers back home. Sometimes, I do notice the outside is a bit damp. I think it might be transferance due to cold, rather than leaking. (I say this because at the end of a wash cycle once, the bag was half full of water and nothing was leaking.) Anyway, I was happy with this bag, so I purchased antoher in September. It is now December and I am still happy with both bags. Diaper capacity, it holds a lot. I got 7 Bum Genius Diapers with inserts, 2 Flip Covers with inserts, and 2 new born inserts. I think this might be capacity, but this was an emergency situation and I normally only carry 6 diapers in the bag at once and there is plenty of slack left.

Rating:

I have a medium and I absolutely love it. It's my favorite small wet bag. It never leaks and the zipper makes me feel secure putting it in the diaper bag with other baby stuff. It's also very pretty, holds several diapers, and the wide opening lets you drop the diapers in easily.

Rating:

I have 2 of these bags so I have one to use while the other is being washed on diaper day. I really like them. They contain the smell VERY well. In fact, the only time I smell stink is when I open the bag to put a diaper in or empty the whole thing into the wash. It cleans well, although I have had a little fading on one of the bags. The aqua swirl (I think that's the name) pattern has faded to a light blue and almost sienna/reddish color. But I also got one in a black and white pattern and that one hasn't had any fading issues. Functionally, these are fantastic!

Rating:

We have a medium size (good for diaper bag) and a large size (purchased for weekend trips). We're huge fans. They're holding up very well through frequent washing and drying. The patterns and sizes work great for us!

Rating:

We have three of these bags and they are excellent. They seem to be holding up well with frequent washing and drying. The only problem (and it's not really a problem) is that the small is very small! We originally purchased it to go in the diaper bag but there's no way it would hold more than one diaper. I ended up using it to transport my pump parts around, so at least it hasn't gone to waste.

Rating:

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I just received my size medium wet bag & machine washed it for the 1st time (as stated to do) & when I got it out of the washing machine to hang dry it had ripped all along the zipper!! Not only did I machine wash it but I did so on "gentle" cycle! NOT GOOD QUALITY...especially for the ridiculous price! I promise you, you won't be happy with the cheaply made quality! I am very disappointed!

Rating:

I bought one of these wet bags and one of the Bummis Fabulous wet bags. The Bummis is definitely better. The inner layer of fabric is very 'sticky' so when I try to slide my diapers in they get stuck and I often have to fight with the bag to get my diapers in it. I have also had moisture leak through this wet bag - which defeats the purpose! I have washed the bag over 20 times and have had no problem with the construction of the bag. And it holds in odors very well. But I would much rather use my Bummis wet bag over this one.

Rating:

Amazing bags! I have 3 medium and 1 large. Just hang them to dry and they will last much longer. My first one got a little ratty from the dryer after a month.

Rating:

Awesome! I have the medium size and it's perfect for a day's worth of diapers... no smell comes through and it's dry as a bone every time. I love the fabric choices and the zipper closure. I just throw it in with my cloth diapers to wash it and it comes out perfect! Wonderful product... highly recommended!

Rating:

I have a large wet bag and it does not contain smells. I would not recommend this brand.

Rating:

I have a large Organic Leaf that I've used as a diaper pail in baby's room for 6 months. No problems, wonderful product! I just hang it by the handle from the closet door and toss it in the wash once a week. Holds a day's worth of BG 3.0 and more if necessary.

Rating:

I am SHOCKED at all the positive reviews this product has gotten! I have one on the small planet wise wet bags and it leaks like crazy! The outer fabric gets wet and the urine smell comes through after just a short time in the bag. I have been putting my diapers in a gallon zip lock bag because I am so disappointed. My reccomendation is NOT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Rating:

I have a large that I use instead of a diaper pail. It does a great job keeping smell away(Even had it sitting in a hot car all day, and couldn't smell a thing) Very convenient, and very cute, you can't even tell that it holds dirty diapers unless someone tells you. It easily holds 2 days worth of OS pocket diapers. Also, I've washed it about 4 or 5 times now, and there are no signs of wear. I'll be purchasing a small one to throw into my diaper bag for quick trips. I LOVE This wet bag, recomend to all my friend!

Rating:

LOVE IT! I have used this bag for a few months now and it is great for the diaper bag. I purchased the medium aqua spiral design and it can hold 7-8 BG AIO cloth diapers. It keeps all the smells in and I LOVE the zipper as opposed to a draw string. I've washed it over ten times and it has held up great so far. It still looks brand new! I think I'm going to get a large one for long trips but can't decide which design to go with this time!

Rating:

I bought two of these, one M for use in my diaper bag and one L for longer trips. The M is the perfect size and does a great job containing odor/wetness. I have been using the L bag for my trips to the pool. I put wet towels/swim suit etc in there afterwards. It has a LOT of room so I'm sure it would be great on an extended trip in lieu of toting a diaper pail around, but I haven't had the opportunity to use it for such yet.

Rating:

I have the medium river rocks. Love this bag. I can fit several cloth diapers in this. I like the nice zipper for the ultimate containment. It folds down small for my diaper-bag. Washes well but I think the PUL part shrunk a tiny bit in dryer. I should have line dried. But it still looks great! I like this size but am also interested in the small which might fit like 2 diapers whereas this one holds about 4-6 AIO's. Love the quality and designs.

Rating:

These are nice for SHORT trips. After that, the urine leaks through the pull and the bag actually gets wet. Kind of defeats the purpose. Disappointed and need to look for something else.

Rating:

I rarely use my large size bag, but while on a day trip I used it. That night I washed the bag with my diapers (one cold wash, one hot wash, clear detergent) and the bag was ripped down both of the side seams when I removed it from the washer! It is completely ruined! I was given it as a gift at my cloth diaper shower 6 months ago so I don't have a receipt. I've only used and washed it about 4 times total. Really disappointing! Otherwise, I don't have much to say about it since I rarely used it. For the daycare, I have a snap top box that I bought at Wal-Mart that works wonderfully! I put clean, folded diapers in it at night, take the box in the AM to the daycare and put the diapers at the changing station, then the workers drop the used diapers in the box throughout the day. In the evenings after I dump diapers in the washer, I run an antibacterial wipe in the box and put the clean, folded diapers in. That's my method. Glad I didn't rely on the fancy bag to see me through!!!

Rating:

I LOVE these wetbags! We have a medium one for when we're out and about. It fits a days worth of dirty diapers(BG one size) for our 2yr old and 3month old. I also have a small one for when we are at home to hold the soiled/dirty prefolds for our 3 month old. I can say enought that I LOVE LOVE LOVE these bags! The colors are great too!

Wow....I've had my wet bags for just about 2 months (I bought them towards the end of August), and while I was folding diapers today I noticed that one of my wet bags had PUL tearing in the corner. For the price I paid for my large bags (3 of them) for use at my son's daycare (about $19 each!!!!), I am really ticked right now. In addition, smells leak from them and leave my son's diaper bag smelling horrible by the time it gets home from daycare. Not a happy customer. Unfortunately, I cannot return them because I did not anticipate this problem from the rave reviews they received and didn't keep my receipt from cotton babies. One more problem with these...I put them in a wash cycle with no soap with my BG right after I stripped the diapers with bleach and Dawn which was obviously a bad choice (though I didn't think so at the time - I figured most of the bleach had rinsed out by then and was just doing another hot wash with no soap to be sure). Bleach leaked out from the inserts as the diapers were rinsing and left bleach marks all over the fabric on the wet bags!

Rating:

Super wet bags! These are a must have. We have not had any issues with them leaking and we have been sing them for over 4 months now.

Rating:

I love the wet bags! I have two small bags for small outing, they fit two to three diapers max. I purchased the large bag for longer trips that can hold a couple of days worth of diapers if needed. I will be getting a medium bag for the car for back up.

Rating:

I bought a medium sized bag, I definatly recommend you get a medium size for use in your diaper bag, it works perfect, the small is too small for cloth diapers. I have fit 6 one size bumgenius in the medium. Also, this bag is excellent for keeping smell in, I've forgotten to empty it at night before going to bed, and in the morning open it up and whew! lol. washes well, dries well in dryer or hang dry, it's wonderful. I ended up purchasing a second medium sized wet/dry bag, since I realized I can't really put soiled clothing into this bag without it getting into worse condition, so maybe the small bag would work well for soiled baby clothing, but definatly medium sized for diapers.

Rating:

I bought two of these about 2 months ago. A medium and a large. They are great. They keep in the smells and on an all day outing one holds the clean and the other the dirty. We have yet to fill either to capacity on an all day outing. I love the loop on the large, we hang it from the stroller when we go to the zoo, and everything that gets dirty goes in there, including gross cups and washcloths. I love the fabric choices. My only complaint was that they were sold out of the fabric I wanted in the size I wanted. Then I got my second choice and I like it even more than I thought I would so it all works out in the end.

Rating:

We purchased a medium wet bag about 6 months ago. The bag has traveled with us, goes to the sitters on a daily basis and has held up amazingly well. We can fit 5 Bum Genius 3.0's in the medium wet bag. I LOVE this bag. Doesn't leak at all! We plan to purchase a large wet bag to use at the house.

Rating:

Great wetbag!! The construction is GREAT. The medium size is perfect for being out all day long (with one child) VERY pleased with this product!

Rating:

I bought the small size after reading a review that said that several small diapers could fit. I am not sure how that person did it because I had to fold my bumgenius one size up so small just to fit it in the bag, then I had room for about three more wipes...Adorable bag, but I would not recommend the small for more than one diaper...

Rating:

we got two of these in medium (one for the diaper bag and one for the late night changes in the bedroom) we choose the art deco. they are wonderfully stylish and hold quite a few dirty diapers and best of all... they hold all those smelly diaper smells!

Rating:

I purchased 2 medium size bags for daycare. Each easily holds more than 4 BumGenius cloth diapers and as many cloth wipes as necessary for any day. I washed the bags on gentle cycle and was very disappointed when the exterior fabric showed immediate signs of wear and tear. There are multiple holes in the fabric at the top of both bags, just below the zipper seams and the bags only went through the wash once. While I do like the zipper closure, I am dubious how long these bags will last.

Rating:

I'm washing for the first time as I type so we'll see how it is when it comes out, but I actually fit 3 BG3.0's their used wipes and one 3-6 mos onesie in the small, so its fine as far as I'm concered size-wise. VERY cute and it looked well contructed. I just wish they had my first choice pattern in a small, but I'm happy with my daisies!

Rating:

I purchased the medium sized wet bag and I love it! I carry it in my diaper bag, and use it when I change him out and about, I also throw any soiled clothes into it if I need to....have been washing it and it's holding up great - plus, the fabric is stylish and cute!

Rating:

I have a small wet bag and a medium. Both are fine, I'd like to get a few more small to keep a clean diaper and wipe then use it and replace with the dirty. Just like the small size up in the diaper bag. I wish the medium had a loop to hang it.

Rating:

Bought the medium sized bag and absolutely love it when we are out and about. I am considering a large size to keep next to the changing table, instead of using the hamper.

Rating:

I received this bag as a gift. On the first washing, we were extremely disappointed when it came out of the dryer with the seams shredded! We had washed it according to the instructions. My grandmother, mom and I, who all sew, looked at the seams and they were sewn much too close to the edge of the fabric and only single stiched - not very well made. The waterproof layer was intact, but the cotton would have needed to be cut off completely to have been used. Hopefully in the future these will be a little more sturdily made?. I hope Cotton Babies will start carrying a better zippered wetbag soon!

Rating:

I bought the large size. It's a beautiful bag, it is way less smelly using this bag than using the trash can (with a locking lid) that I was using before, and I love that I can just toss the bag in the wash with the diapers. This bag is very well made, it's been washed repeatedly and shows no signs of wear. I was a little put off by the price but I think it is definitely worth it. In fact, I would love just one more so I can divide my diaper load in half and have a place to put soiled diapers when the other bag is in the wash.

Rating:

I ordered the small size thinking it would be great for the diaper bag, but the small size is really small. Would fit a maximum of 2 bumgenius 3.0 diapers. I am exchanging the small for the medium size. Otherwise, the construction is good and the colors are great.
