My Christmas Wish List: A Gift Guide for a Toddler
December 5, 2016 8:00 am | by

It’s hard to believe it, but my little girl is almost 2! She loves playing with her baby dolls, coloring, and reading books. Every time I go to make a Christmas wish list for her, it seems to grow and grow and grow. She’s my first kiddo, and it’s SO much fun to shop for her!

My Christmas Wish List for Jane includes:

1. ERGObaby Doll Carrier

She seriously LOVES her babies and it warms my heart. We’re starting babywearing early in this family.

2. Green Toys – Cookware and Dining Set

This cooking set is adorable! Jane is really into opening our kitchen cabinets and pulling things out. I’m thinking about designating a cabinet just for her and filling it with fun stuff like this.

3. aden + anais metallic charm classic dream blanket

She’s totally over her sleep sacks, so it’s time to give her a proper blanket. We’ve used aden + anais swaddles since she was tiny, and she adores her Lovey. This blanket is soooo soft – I know she will love it.

4. KicKee Pants Short Sleeve Swing Dress

SO CUTE! KicKee Pants is right up there with my top baby clothing lines. I wish they made clothes in my size because they feel like a dream. Really, you can’t go wrong with anything they make.

5-7. Everything Austen!

Since her name is Jane, obviously we had to get a Genius Series Austen cloth diaper (5). To keep the theme going, she pretty much needs a Babylit Mr. Darcy Doll (6) and Babylit “Goodnight, Mr. Darcy.” (7) Right? Right.

8. Crayola Color Wonder Markers

To keep her creative juices flowing, I am adding some new Crayola Color Wonder Markers and coloring books to her wish list. Have you tried these? The color ONLY shows up the special paper. When she colors her face, the table, the carpet, the dogs – nothing! It only shows up on the paper which helps keep mama somewhat sane.

9. Prince Lionheart Wheely Bug (9)

My nickname for Jane is “Ladybug”, and lucky for her, the Wheely Bug comes in an adorable ladybug! She is going to love cruising around on one of these. She has several ride on toys, but they only go front to back. I love that the Wheely Bug moves in all directions – perfect for tight turns in our house.

10. Strong Comfort Blanket

This last gift on my list is a little bit for Jane, and a little bit for me. The Strong Comfort Blanket is the ultimate for cuddling. I can see us curling up in it to read books or just relax. I love that it gives back to Postpartum Progress. Learn more about the Gift Series in this post.
