Here is a simple, affordable wash routine you can use to clean your diaper diapers in a laundromat: Wash the load one entire cycle using the amount of detergent recommended for a heavily soiled load (see back of detergent bottle). Wash the load again one entire

September 23, 2014 8:34 pm | by

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. Leaves falling off the trees, windows open, candles burning, pumpkin and apple everything, ohhhh yes! Fall is here! My family has a few traditions we do every year that makes us happy that summer has ended.  Apple Picking. We love to go apple picking at a local orchard. We take pictures, eat apples while picking them, and just enjoy being outside with our family. The week after, I make a bunch of homemade applesauce, apple pies, and other apple yummy treats. Cloth Diaper Creams

Buy Sell Trade (BST) forums have recently become VERY popular, especially when it comes to cloth diapers and other parenting products like baby carriers and diaper bags. September 18, 2014 8:14 pm | by

I’m a working mama of 3 kids, and I’ll admit, I often don’t do things the “easy” way. I love to cook from scratch, I clean incessantly, and I research almost every product before making a purchase. So there are times I just need something to be simple. And using cloth diapers is simple! But with it comes a whole slew of techniques on how to clean them: spraying, swishing, soaking, sunning, etc. I don’t have time for all that! I do laundry seemingly around-the-clock as it is. I just want something that works the first time; something that I don’t

Real Mom Talk: Reusable Products
September 16, 2014 6:55 pm | by

There are so many reusable products out there! Of course, my favorite would have to be cloth diapers, but I like so many others too! Reusable products help cut down on waste, save money, and can come in some cute designs and colors that throw away products don’t. Reusable sandwich bags – My husband packs his lunch almost daily. Sandwiches, chips, snacks… it really adds up. He could take up to 5 plastic bags a day. And then, they just get thrown in the trash! Who wants to literally throw money away on a daily basis? Sure, it’s only a few pennies.

Cloth Diaper Creams

Lately, we’ve been seeing A LOT of questions about cloth diaper fit. Some people are worried that the fit may be too tight while others are experiencing leaks as a result. Let’s take some time to actually discuss cloth diaper fit and give you some tips on how to avoid leaks. When it comes to cloth diapers, you always want them to be snug. This will ensure that no moisture escapes from the diaper. If you can see any gaps or “air” between the diaper and their skin, then you need to refine the fit somehow. With bumGenius or Flip that might mean fastening
