As for the durability of the covers themselves, I do like them and they hold up well. I use them as backup covers when my others are in the wash and always carry them in my diaper bag when I am out and about in case I need a cover. When my baby finally grew into the sizes and the leg holes fit nicely around the leg they have worked great, rarely any leaks, and they dry very quickly which is nice. So they would get a full 5 star rating for quality and durability. I'd give them a 1-2 star for fit. I read different reviews on these before purchasing them and some said the sizes were accurate, others said the sizes weren't and I really think it comes down to luck and what you end up with in your packages. I bought one of every size, newborn, small, medium, and large and the newborn size did not fit my newborn, in fact the newborn ones were actually 2 different sizes, one was larger than the size smalls, the other was barely smaller in size than the small ones I had ordered, so they did not fit my little one until she hit about 15 pounds, and the package and tags on the covers both said newborn. I haven't gotten around to using the larges yet, and not sure if I will ever even need them, they are gigantic, they are larger than the underwear I wear and given that my little one is a skinny girl, I don't think they would ever stay up on her. But the small and medium sized ones seem like they will fit the poundage range listed. Like I said above, love the covers they do their job well and are easy to use, downside is that the sizing is not great and I really think that just comes down to luck and what you end up with. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I just received these yesterday and I can say without a doubt that they are wonderful! They do make a bit of noise when my daughter runs around but nothing like the disposables sound like. Most of all, These are truly leakproof. I had her wear one as soon as I received them and they only whicked slightly around the leg just once when the diaper was touching the spandex leg of the cover. As far as over night is concerned, I love this cover because we woke up with a dry bed and dry clothes. I wish I would have gone with these rather than PUL a long time ago. I have used quite a few of these, To save money, make your own Ritas Rump pocket diapers with flannel, purchase a snappi or two and use these. They work, and they are cheap! Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I have used the Newborn sized Dappi nylon pants for two months with my third child. They have been wonderful! They contain poo much better than disposables. I had to stitch up the legs a bit because my newborns have skinny legs. The only other thing I didn't like about them was that when we did have a blowout, no poo would escape the pant but if it came out of the prefold onto the pant, my little one would still get poo all up and down his leg. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I love these. I've tried bumGenius, Flip, and Econobum but have been unsatisfied for various reasons. These, with a prefold pinned, are our favorite way to diaper. They are very trim under clothes, even on my 6 mo baby. They allow for great ease of movement for both baby and toddler, and I've had essentially no leaks (any I had were the prefold's fault not the Dappi). Plus, you can't beat the price. That said, there are a few cons. They have stained around the legs where bf poo has leaked out the prefold. While everyone else says they run large, I find they have much too short a rise for my tall kids. If I get a size that is tall enough, it's not tight enough around the waist/legs. such is the problem with a pull on. Even so, this is a great solution for us. I can bulk and fit a doubled, even tripled, prefold under these for bedtime or use a super trim flatfold. They work for everything, super thin yet indestructible. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase With my second son I used cloth and it was Chinese prefolds, a snappi and Alexis Featherlite pullup nylon pants. They do not make those pants anymore, so this was the next kind I bought. They work great! They never leaked, or allowed a blowout and the prefolds never caused a diaper rash. I didn't like the Bummis pull up pants because the bindings on the legs DID wick moisture and so then my son's clothes would be wet. Back to Dappi I went. So glad to find them again for this baby! Cotton Babies Verified Purchase Dappi is a wonderful basic diaper cover. We have been using these pretty regularly for about a year now and find that they are sturdy and very water proof. Nothing exciting about this cover but it's cheap. We now use these when we don't have any clean Thirsties covers which we prefer because they come off like a disposable diaper and avoid the slide down mess. If you are on a tight budget and want a quality diaper cover to put over pinned prefolds for less cost, this "nylon" cover is it! We have never seen one of these covers tear like the Gerber vinyl pants that get weaker with each wash, and we wash them on HOT!!! They are bulletproof and I like the fact that they are nylon, much stronger material. Regarding sizing, if you plan on putting these over doubled prefolds for nighttime use, the size chart is right on, and we have slender children. These are worth the money saved! Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I bought all kinds of expensive things for overnight, spent hundreds. All I needed to do (and what works the best) is to bulk it up with prefolds and hemp (do a regular sized prefold and a hemp doubler wrapped in a flat or newborn sized prefold inside of the regular prefold) use pins and pull on pants. It's old school but it works. And it happens to be the cheapest option. It can be hard to get a good fit, and baby might be inbetween sizes at times. But when it fits, it works great. I found that for overnight, baby tosses and turns too much for a snappi, so I do need pins. But I made it 12 months before ever pinning a diaper. For daytime we use flip and econobum covers, but for nights, naps, and whenever we're feeling like it, we use these. Also, they don't stain so they are great for mealtime. No leaks, though they are a pain to take off when BM poop explodes out of her flat- or prefold. They are light and seem comfortable since it's not too tight around the legs or waist. I'm not sure if I like these better than the Bummis Whisperpant. Pros: they are cheap, hard to destroy, make for a thin, trim, and comfy fit. Clothes fit over them so well. But cons - for newborn poo, you end up pulling runny poo down over the legs, and once the baby gets older and needs shoes, they can make diaper changes while out and about a pain since you need to remove shoes and all to remove these. You can make do leaving the cover on for a pee dipe, but it's still somewhat akward compared to a wrap. These + prefolds makes for a super cheap super effective diapering system and some of both have a place in everyone's stash IMO - but they work best in between when baby has runny poo and is walking with real shoes, or for home use with no shoes. These are great! The newborn size is fitting my 12 1/2 lb. 7 week old great with room for probably at least a few more weeks. They're not bulky, just fluffy but that flattens under clothes. Completely leakproof and I love the soft, elastic waistband. I bought these because we were using the bummis super brights and the strip of fabric above the velcro strip would often get tucked under the velcro and thus put the velcro in contact with my newborn's skin. I would take off his diaper and he'd have a red, irritated line across his belly from where the velcro was rubbing against his skin. Not a problem with these great Dappi Nylon Pants! -The #1 thing you want in a diaper cover is NO LEAKS, right? This is it!I've tried dozens of other diapers and covers and this is the ONLY one that I have NEVER HAD A LEAK with. I've read the other reviews about leaks and fit and I think what is important is that you do find the right fit. Perhaps size down or buy two sizes (they are cheap enough!). The most important thing with any cover is to make sure the entire diaper is completely covered by the diaper cover.
-The other thing is it is a bit voluminous but the fabric is very thin and light so squishes very easily under clothes and is not bulky. I like the Bummis WW cover too, but it is way bulkier than this.
-I have used this with my 8.5 lb newborn over snappied prefolds and he's now 11 or 12lbs and i"m using them over a few different fitteds too! I'm thinking the pull-on style with be good for those stand up diaper changes that will inevitably come later.
-Another plus: no velcro to snag everything
--oh and if they get a little poo on them I just take them to the bathroom with me when I wash my hands and wash them out and hang it on the towel rod there to DRY IN NO TIME- otherwise I just let them air out and put em on next diaper change.
-Only drawback (besides they don't come in cute colors) is that I may leave him in a wet diaper longer than I would if it leaked to remind me he needed a new diaper.

Cotton Babies Verified Purchase Pluses: lightweight, stretchy leg elastics do not seem to bind. They do seem to be waterproof - we got them to put on over training pants worn around the house. They can be pulled up and down by the child. They are "airy" and provide for good circulation.
Minuses: these are big enough that a slender adult could wear them. We got the ones that are supposedly for 32-35 lbs kids (my son is 32 lbs), but they are voluminous to the degree that my son thinks they are MY underwear. We could fit him into them in a diaper twice over, and the leg gussets hang down around his knees (or I could pull the waistband up to his armpits). She was 8 lbs and 21 inches and they were a bit big around the legs, however they did work without leaking. Now she is 12 lbs and the newborn size still fits her, still without leaking! I am very happy with these covers. They are easy to wash, very fast to dry and easy to pack extras in the diaper bag without bulk. They also fit nicely under clothing. Very compact even though they look baggy. They do wick a little bit at the waist and leg bands but only after a soaking wet diaper. So you just rinse it out and lay it out to dry and get another one out. In 20 minutes the first pair will be ready to go again! Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I got some of these in Large, which is the correct size for my 18-month-old boy (30 lbs), and have been using these about a month now with pre-folds and a Snappi. This combination is a little bulkier than a disposable, but I've been able to get my child's clothes on him fine anyway.
There have been NO leaks, even with some horribly icky-runny messes and a super-active toddler. (This is better than I can say for the leading brand of disposables, which I previously used.) Easy to wash -- in fact I accidentally washed some in hot water and it didn't seem to do them any harm. One stained a little, but I used Biz on it.
These were leaving some red marks on my son's thighs, but I was able to eliminate this problem by making sure the leg holes are high-enough up on his leg & the diaper is completely inside.
The one huge problem is getting them off when they're soiled with a stinky mess, since they have to come over the feet. With a particularly nasty "job" to clean up that didn't stay inside the cloth diaper, this can mean washing the changing-table cover and possibly the baby, too.
With a toddler, I can predict pretty easily when he's going to do # 2, so I will probably get some Dappi diaper covers (the kind with Velcro-style fastners that wrap around -- wish Cotton Babies would start carrying them) to use at those times of day, and use these the rest of the time. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I recently purchased several of these Dappi nylon diaper pants. My son has worn them everywhere- and I mean everywhere; he has sat in the dirt, tussled with the dog, and ridden his little trike in nothing but his Dappi pants covered diaper- and they have held up beautifully! I have not had a single leak, even overnight. Yes, they do stain, but so do his other clothes that go where he goes. They are soft and light, and do not make his skin hot like other diaper covers, even the expensive pul ones. And I love the way I can get several uses between machine washes just by swishing them in the sink and hanging them to dry. I should have gotten some long ago. They are the best combination of economy and performance/ quality that I have come across in the diaper cover world.

They're also hard to get off when the leg holes are covered in poop, as they have to go over the feet, and my son winds up getting poop all down his leg! Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I really like these covers. They are trim, soft, and easy to clean. I like the fact that they don't add any bulk at the waist, or strangle my baby's waist. The other PUL covers that I tried were bulky and stiff, and the velcro tabs at the waist cut into my baby's tummy.
One word of caution: if your baby has chubby legs, always buy the next size up. My baby is average, I think, but the size recommended for her weight was borderline small. She is now 22 pounds, and I would definitely get the extra large size.
Also, just fyi, if you're looking for other diaper covers. I LOVE G DIAPER covers. THey are the absolute best! I stuff them with doublers - some that are lined w/ fleece and w/ microterry on the other side. I also made some w/ organic cotton velour (wicking property), microterry, and hemp. I use a small doubler w/ 2 layers of microterry under these. They work like wonders!! I REALLY recommend checking these out. You can see them at Whole Foods, in the grocery section. Their new kit costs about $23, and includes 2 pants + + 4 plastic liners + 10 flushable inserts. Otherwise, if you order from their website, new pants are $17 each. I love these covers because they have the TRIMMEST fit I could find. They are soft, pretty, and hold SO much better than anything else I've found. I'm a CD mama at heart, and have tried many different kinds of diapers (AOIs, fitteds, etc.) The G diaper combo of doublers (day time) + inserts (night time, traveling outside the home) works best for me. My baby is a HEAVY WETTER (sometimes her morning diaper weighs 16 ounces - yes, I weighed them!) So I needed something that could absorb this wettness. Cloth never holds so much, but the inserts do the trick. Give them a try! And if you want to stick w/ the typical CD, definitely choose Dappis. I want to buy a few extra pairs to keep on hand.

I even put these over his pockets at night just for extra protection. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because they stain horribly. I'll put my foot in my mouth now, because these are the only wraps I use on my DD with her NB fitteds! I found that these work perfectly and aren't bulky at all over the fitteds. The BSWW are a bit bulky, leave red marks on her legs (next size up doesn't fit just yet) and the velcro irritates her sensistive NB skin. I'm sure I'll be able to use the other covers a bit later, but these are just perfect for now. The one leak I've had was my fault - I didn't tuck the top of the diaper in at the back (in my defense, it was a 3am diaper change!). I highly recommend these.

I am not sure what the difference is, but I still use them for my son and I really like them! The are much more comfy for him to move around in especially when he tries to sit on his own. You name a style of diaper/cover/aio and we've tried it. Although I've enjoyed the experience, we're a prefold and dappi cover family now. And this is great to teach her how to pull in and out of the pants (hopefully would inspire her to potty training when she is ready). Other than that, there was a time when my daughter was a baby, she moved around so much when I changed her diaper. Rather than putting her on the wrap style diaper cover which requires her to be in the right spot (so that it wont skewed to right nor left), I could imagine this would be the possible way out to a quick changing by pulling and putting it back in pants style.
