Wipes clean so well if I'm out to eat and washes in the sink when I'm at home, they make great wet bags too! It does seem a little overpriced, however, given that it is merely a few pieces of thin plasticy material, stitched together. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Anne on Saturday 20 November, 2010 I love Bumkins Superbibs! They are lightweight and comfortable. My children like to wear them. They last for years. They are machine washable but I don't like to have food-covered bibs sitting in the laundry basket. (I've had bibs get moldy sitting in the laundry). Instead, I just hand wash them quickly in the sink after meals. I hang them on my Bib Drying Rack and they are dry by the next meal. So, as long as you hang it up to dry, it is ready for the next meal. That way you really only need to own 1-2 bibs per child. Saves money! It is seems much smaller than in the photo (or perhaps the child is very small?). It works well for my son because he cannot take off this bib, and he can with all others. I also like the Keith Haring prints!! This is an excellent baby shower or 1st birthday gift. It is lightweight and not stiff like other bibs, the food always falls right into the pocket, and the velcro is sturdy and adjusts from "first solid food" sized-necks to "Mom, I want more chicken noodle soup" sized-necks. We have been using ours for 3 years, first with our daughter and now with our son, who is almost 2. It's not quite as bright and clean as when it was new, but I won't need to order another one. My only complaint is that it does get pretty smelly in between washings if you only wash it in the machine every couple weeks like we do! But if you wash it regularly, you probably won't have that problem! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Karen on Monday 31 August, 2009 I think this is the best, best bib there is. It is easy to clean....does not stain and is sturdy. I am a huge fan. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Misten on Sunday 09 November, 2008 Awesome!!! My son at first was a little distracted by the crazy design but they do a great job. And he loves finding leftovers in the pocket. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Kendra on Saturday 02 August, 2008 They best bib out there1 Once your little one starts making a mess during meal time. This is a must. We have 6 of these and that is plenty. Just rinse them out when you are finished and let them hang dry in the sink. They never stain and are very durable! You'll never use a different kind again. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Lisa on Saturday 12 July, 2008 Cotton Babies Verified Purchase This is by far the best bib we have found. I just ordered more so that we can keep them in our diaper bags. The velcro closure works great and keeps working. We love how soft the material is and how quickly it dries. It rolls up super small so that it is highly portable. Cheaper bibs are not worth the hassle. Great product! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Tricia on Friday 21 September, 2007 I can’t say enough good things about this bib. It’s the best bib we have ever had. Its so thin you can fold it up easily and drop in your purse but is totally waterproof easy to clean and indestructible, I have 3 bibs which I used for all 4 of my children I bought a new one for my daughter just because I wanted a girl color. The bibs look just a good today as they did 5 years ago no fading, they are just hands down the best bibs ever. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Laura on Tuesday 26 June, 2007 Cotton Babies Verified Purchase These bibs are wide enough on either side at the top to keep our very squirmy 15-month-old from wiping her mouth along her shoulders. The pocket is designed to hang open ever so slightly, catching food and crumbs that have slid right over the top of other, less well-constructed bib pockets. The neck closure features a nice, wide piece of velcro that makes it possible to adjust well to different neck sizes (we can actually pull it tight enough -- barely -- to keep our skinny little kid's neck and collar clean!). In short, it's worth the slightly higher price compared to what you'll find in Target or the like. View all 11 reviews |
