The Moby Wrap was our best baby buy, hands down. We started putting our daughter in it the second she was 8 pounds and at first, she wasn't too sure about it. I would try her in it for a couple of minutes every couple of days and pretty soon it was her favorite thing. This was wonderful since she loved cuddling and being held. She is now 8 months, and I still use it daily when we go on a walk. I love how the fabric doesn't cut into my shoulders, and it doesn't kill my back like another carrier I own. I also love that she is close to my face so I can talk to her and give her kisses. We love our Moby! :)
We got this Moby when my little one was one month old. He wanted to be held all of the time. He didn't like it as much as I hoped he would. He has only slept in it a few times. He just won't sleep unless he is in my arms. He has grown to like it enough to let me wear him in it to do a few chores or for a quick trip to the store now at 6 months old. I especially like it at the bank if I need to stand in line or need to fill out papers. I like how comfortable it is and how easy it is to just wear when I'm out and pop him in and out of so I will continue to use it as long as he fits in it. He is 19 lbs now and still feels comfortable and it doesn't hurt my back. I also love how our Moby has sun protection in the cloth. I would buy this again.
I like this wrap more than I thought I would. The whole wrap/tie aspect is more work than I want to put in say - while exiting my vehicle on an errand, but as long as I know ahead of time its not uncomfortable to just wear over my clothes out of the house. My baby is now 4 weeks old and he loves it. I wear it around the house (as does my husband) whenever he gets fussy because he immediately falls asleep when in it.
We love our Moby. At first, I was using a ring sling, but felt like my son got too crunched up and kind of smooshy in it. I was constantly readjusting him. When we got our Moby, he was a month old, and after a day or so of getting used to using it, it was easily the most comfortable way to carry him. He is five months now and very strong. I love that I can carry him securely and he has the freedom to see what is going on around him. It could certainly be more breathable and a bit longer so that my very tall husband could feel comfortable using it, but I spend hours every day wearing my baby and have never felt like he was uncomfortable or unsafe. I have a pretty aqua colored Moby and get many compliments on it, and many exclamations from older women who wished they had had one when they were raising children. I would recommend the Moby to any parent with a tiny baby, as long as they are of a fairly typical size.
I love my Moby! It is by far the most comfortable carrier to use. I use mine most while grocery shopping and my little one sleeps while I shop. I also love it to use when I'm out and don't have anywhere to lay her down to nap. It is a little warm in hot weather but I'm so thankful to be able to let her sleep that I don't mind! I have two and use them all the time. I can put one in the car and have one at home or use one while the other is in the wash. It is a little complicated to learn how to put on but once you practice a couple of times it's easy. And because it's so comfortable, it's worth the learning curve.
