I really wanted to love these. Aside from being cute, they seemed so promising in terms of ease of use and affordability. But, alas, twasn't so. We couldn't use them for the first couple of weeks because they rubbed the cord stump. After that, it was a host of issues: leaking around the legs, no inserts seemed to fit well (including the Flip Newborn inserts, which are mentioned on the site as being the insert of choice), and every poopy diaper soiled the cover ... and with a newborn, nearly every diaper is poopy. These are great in theory, but definitely didn't work for us in practice.
