I just read some previous comments stating not to wash with hot water. Wish I would have known before. My planet wise pail liner is leaking & I think the kissaluvs liner works much better
Thank you to the person who wrote the previous review/FYI. This is an excellent liner and saves me from touching poo and a messy diaper pail. I have two and only use them in the cold water cycles with my diapers. Just remove the bag when you wash hot, line dry, and no bleach. I love this bag! Be sure to follow the care instructions on the website.
This is less a review and more an FYI. These can NOT be washed in hot water. Warm or cold only. So, if you wash your diapers in hot water, you can not wash this bag with them. The Planet Wise website says hot water wrecks the PUL. Cotton Babies needs to clarify this on their website and when they mail you the product. I actually emailed Planet Wise to double check and they got back to me very quickly saying not to wash in hot water. I see a lot of reviews where the product fell apart quickly and some stated they were washed with diapers. That might be why the product didn't last. They also need to be line dried inside-NOT outside. The sun will wreck them. If you put them in the dryer air or low heat only. Check out the Planet Wise website under the washing instructions. These fall under the wet bag category.
I love these liners!! They are so easy to use & wash up nicely every time. I've been using them for 5 months now and have had no leaks. I wring out the diaper inserts so that they are not going into the diaper pail liner soaking wet. It's nice to just grab the liner, take it to the washing machine, dump the diapers in, turn the liner inside out and throw it in to be washed right along with the diapers...all without touching a dirty diaper and getting your hands all yucky. I have 3 that I rotate through. I love the variety of colors available!!
I bought two of these liners when I started CDing 13 months ago with my son. They do work great! No leaking, no horrendous smell and easy to wash. The only complaint I have is that the PUL lining is shredding away little by little. At 13 months there are large sections where no PUL exists. I thought they would last a bit longer than a year as I don't do anything extreme to them. My next purchase will be the kissaluvs anti-bacterial liner which I've read is really good. Hopefully they last a bit longer?
