I bought this package in a silent auction prior to the birth of my first child. These were fantastic, and we used them solely for the first two months. All the OS diapers we had were actually too big and caused leaks until he reached over 10 pounds, but with the Bummis - no leaks! The covers lasted us until he finally grew out at 5 months, and at 9 1/2 months, we are still using the prefolds with other OS covers or to double up night-time diapers. Nothing else is as absorbent as these and they clean so easily (never any smell like our BG microfiber inserts). They have held up for countless washes, and I am quite sure they will still be in great condition to use when we have a second child. If you want a dependable CD that will last you a long time and thus save you lots of money ... these are it!

I got both sizes before my baby was born. They're a bit bulky, but they are a lot nicer than the flimsy Prorap covers I had been using with my other child. The prefolds are nice, and the Bummis are well constructed & hold in poo... as a matter of fact, the only time we have had blow outs was when we used disposables! My daughter fit in the baby size from newborn (7 lbs 4 oz) until just shy of 14 pounds. (My kids have chunky thighs). I switched once she started getting the marks on her legs and complaining when I would put them on her. She is now in the bigger ones, but I am finding them to be really odd-fitting. The 24 diapers that come with them, are so HUGE, that I would have to fold it and double it up in the front. These covers pretty much swallow her at 14-ish pounds. I am using the medium covers with the smaller prefolds from the baby kit until she gets a bit bigger. I think that with 36 prefolds, the baby package should come with about 6 diaper covers, as I find that I have to do laundry around diaper 24. All in all, and economic diaper package. It has saved us lots of money.
