Thirsties Fab Fitted Reviews (17) Write Review Rating: [3 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Shayla on Monday 11 January, 2010These are OK. I really wanted to love these diapers. They are very easy to use and super soft. They are a great fit with almost any cover, but they don't keep baby's skin dry, so I use a stay dry liner with them, which is a quick and cheap fix. The velcro tabs come undone in the wash and seem to be wearing out after only two months use. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Terese on Saturday 20 June, 2009 We bought one of these for our newborn and nearly died when we saw how cute it was on him.
This diaper is very soft, and very trim. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Angela on Thursday 12 March, 2009 I really like this diaper. I love the fit - so trim. And it's so soft - after 18+ months of use, it is still soft. I would not call it the most absorbant diaper out there, but my daughter is not a heavy wetter so it worked for us. We never had leaks. The fab fitted with a Thirsties cover was bulletproof for us. I will be getting a stash of these for our newborn coming soon. Rating: [1 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Megan on Sunday 09 November, 2008 I am not impressed with this diaper. It is the only diaper that I have that has leaked (with a Pro Wrap and with a Thirsties). The laundry tabs are awful - they come undone every time I wash. I like Thirsties covers, but I will not be purchasing any more Fab Fitteds. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Emily on Monday 20 October, 2008 Love these diapers. They absorb a lot and I've never had a leak. (Except wicking when I let the diaper peak out of the top of the cover, but that's user error.) I used the x-small on my newborn and definitely preferred them over the Kissaluvs. I would highly recommend them. Rating: [3 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Florita on Wednesday 08 October, 2008 These diapers are so soft and cute, but they leak (wetness) every time for my super soaker. I still make it work with a prowrap cover.
What annoys me the most is that the velcro would always come off (from the laundry tabs) in the wash- every time.
I never put these in the dryer, but they dry pretty quickly in the rack. Rating: [2 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Dustin on Sunday 24 August, 2008 These diapers are really soft, but they leaked every time I used them. (Yes, I used a cover.. ProWrap Classic which is my favorite.) It just didn't hold wet diapers very well. I prefer to use chinese prefolds in a sock that wicks the moisture away. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Kira on Sunday 25 May, 2008 THESE DIAPERS ARE GREAT!!!!! I also got the chinese prefolds, but these i find are way easier to use and softer. They are also super absorbant, I really don't want to cover them up cause they are so cute, I have actually paired them with the bummis super whisper wrap which i have found is my favorite one. I plan on buying more of these and keeping my prefolds for wash days! Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Kim on Friday 23 May, 2008 arianna, actually it did not say on the website that it needed a cover when i purchased the diaper. i e-mailed the owner and they added that later after i told them. =) Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Rachael on Friday 16 May, 2008 Awesome product! We tried Kissaluvs before getting these, and they weren't absorbant at all. These, on the other hand, are SUPER absorbant, and IMO way cuter and colorful! They keep my daughter pretty dry, and they are really soft on the inside and out. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Rochelle on Wednesday 16 April, 2008 Better than Kissaluvs by a mile! Easy to put on, fits great and super absorbant! Fabulous diaper! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Arianna on Saturday 01 March, 2008 Kim, your diaper NEEDS a cover in order to be waterproof. Your son leaked because you didn't use a cover (it does say to use one on the website). Try one next time.
These diapers are great! Very absorbent, and highly recommended if you are a fan of fitted diapers. If you're new to fitted diapers, DON'T FORGET YOUR COVER! Rating: [3 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Kim on Sunday 17 February, 2008 Didn't work for me.... it was on my son less than an hour and he already had pee all over him. =( I am disappointed. It was also very bulky on him. Maybe I ordered too big a size, but I did it by the weight and recomendation of a friend whos son is the same size as mine. Do these need a diaper cover???? I am going to save mine for later, until hes a bit bigger. For now, I am going with bumgenius! =) Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Stephanie on Monday 04 February, 2008 I LOVE these diapers!!! They are so soft and they fit so well on my little guys I can't put a high enough recomendation on them! The colors are beautiful and they have a perfect fit that allows my boys to run and climb and do all their little activities without being hampered by excess bulk. The diapers are very trim and even with a doubler you can get clothes over them no problem! They require a cover but to be honest, unless we're leaving the house I don't even use one because they are so absorbant on their own we've never had a leak or had the diapers leave a wet spot after sitting. Aperfect fit for me and the little ones, they couldn't be any easier to use and care for. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by jennifer on Wednesday 16 January, 2008 I'm about to move my three month old up to his next size of fitted cloth diapers and ordered two of these to try out...they are truly amazing. I have been very happy with my kissaluvs contours and fitteds, but am splitting his next weight class order between these and kissaluvs. They are absolutely SOFT, SOFT, SOFT! They don't seem to hold stains/smells at all thanks to the synthetic nature of the microfiber..also our first use was a four hour stretch and they still felt dry around the waistband! The only drawbacks I can see are that if you use flushable liners, your baby's bottom won't benefit from the incredible softness of this diaper plus I am an obsessive diaper rash preventer so I use a small amount of diaper cream with each change which theoretically could build up on these and decrease their performance...hence splitting my next order with cotton diapers so I can still use my creams on the baby at least part of the day (his bottom hasn't suffered a blemish yet). Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by missy on Saturday 05 January, 2008 very cute, trim and absorbant! i love the very vibrent colors, the only bad thing i can say is when my son who is thinking about potty training wears these he can't tell when he is wet. i guess that would be a good thing for baby's tushie but not good for pting. lol! they wash up nice and dry fairly fast. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Shannon on Wednesday 26 December, 2007 I'm shocked that I haven't seen more reviews for the Fab Fitteds. These were the first and only fitteds I've tried for my 3.5 month old, and I'm impressed! They're trim and soft and cute...not to mention so absorbant that we've never had a leak through a 10+ hour stretch and 2 nighttime nursing sessions. They're easy to use and an affordable price. They keep my baby's skin dry while absorbing so much! I thought about trying a different fitted, just to compare, but I decided you can't improve upon perfection! Highly recommended for use with the Thirsties covers. View all 17 reviews |
