Can you wear it on your back? Yes, you can. Although the Peekaru Original is designed for front use, it is fully functional when using a back carry. You may find the neck zipper unusual as it will zip up the back of your neck, but we find the back carry option works great! (And so does our son!)

What, no sleeves? The Peekaru Original can be worn alone or with a coat over it. You can add your rain coat, winter coat or even another babywearing coat over the Peekaru Original so you always have the perfect amount of warmth for the temperature. This is a purchase i thought i would never need. But since i got it , we have been using it at every outing. It's comfy, easy, and warm. Both mommy and baby are happy with this investment. The onlt down side is you need to get used to people stopping you and asking you where you get it. I thought about sewing the cotton babies logo on the front. ^o^

We so love our Peekaru! I have used it with my ring sling and my Mei Tai and it really does with with any soft structure carrier. I have gotten a few funny looks from people but those are generally people who are not familiar with babywearing. My baby stays nice and warm and tends to fall asleep a lot when we have it on and has gotten to the point that she gets excited when she sees it because she knows we are going outside. It's very stretchy and I think the overall design is wonderful. I am just so happy that the zipper is on the side because I am always afraid I am going to zip my baby. We haven't tried this with a back carry yet, that will come next year, but I can already tell that the neck will work just fine and not feel like a shirt on backwards. Like I said, we love it!

Our family is outdoors through all seasons so we know we'll get lots of good use from this. Since buying the Peekaru only 1 week ago, I have been able to wear it multiple times and LOVE it. I look forward to using this front and back with my Ergo carrier. Highly suggest this! Also, 5+ stars to the staff at Cotton Babies. They are always so helpful and truly care about their customers!

LOVE. I feel like I have gotten my money's worth out of this in only two days! It keeps us both perfectly warm on chilly autumn days, and as a bonus I love that it keeps my newborn's head a little elevated when he falls asleep, and his face isn't crushed into my chest. I wore this all day yesterday and all day today, and every single mom I met commented on it and asked me where I got it! Everyone thought it was just the coolest thing — and it is! Really a great product.

We love this product! It works perfectly over our Moby wrap when we take walks in cold weather. It is also great when we go shopping so curious hands can't grab things they shouldn't! I get so many compliments when wearing it and I love having my baby snuggly, close and warm.

I really thought I was going to love this. But it just isn't working for us. First of all I have a hard time getting it on and off. The hole is small for my baby's head. He's only 14 months but I really struggle getting it on and off of him. It works better on milder days where I don't need a coat myself. When I need a coat is just feels sloppy. I do get compliments on it, but I wish I hadn't purchased it. For us it is not worth the price.

My Peekaru is one of my best baby investments ever! I love it. We wear it over our Baby Bjorn every morning for our walk to school with "big brother". We live just outside of Buffalo NY, so we know snow and cold. We find that we can walk in temperatures down to 20 degrees, so it really saves on gas money too!! My daughter, who is 9 mos old and 16 lbs, fits very comfortably. We have heard "Where did you get that?" and "How does that work?" almost every time we go out. This product really lives up to its claims.

I love the peekaru! I wear it over a Moby Wrap and it keeps us both snuggly and warm. It is easy to take off without waking up my 2 month old (who is NOT a sound sleeper, so that was essential!). It is also much softer than i expected. I would definitely recommend this item.

I was given a Peekaru for Hannukah this year and I absolutely love it! I take a walk with my two-month-old every morning on the beach and it keeps him warm, snugly, and protected from the wind coming off the ocean. It keeps me warm, too, and I love the pocket on the side (I use it for a diaper cloth for spittles). I've received so many compliments on it, and it's definately something I'll continue using on a daily basis as long as it's chilly out.
