My parents wish they had these when they were using cloth diapers lol ;) Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Heather on Saturday 03 March, 2012 Cotton Babies Verified Purchase There is not size option when ordering this product, and the one I recieved said size 1 on the package. They also make a 'toddler' size, so if that's what your in the market for this is the wrong size. This size didn't work with our 16 month old 23 lb'er.
The product itself works great. Rating: [3 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Tiffany on Friday 20 January, 2012 Cotton Babies Verified Purchase Am I doing this wrong???
I bought a snappi (regular size, package said SMALL) and my son is 18 lbs. The snappi barely pulls everything together? I think I must be doing something wrong. It shouldn't be too small! Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Marisa on Thursday 27 October, 2011 Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I gave up on cloth then bought a snappi to see what all the fuss was about, and i love it! I use a toddler snappi on my 22lb boy and it works well though i think it would be too small for an actual toddler. Also i wish cotton babies had toddlers in colors other than white but at least it goes with everything! Anyone who uses prefolds definately needs to pay the money and get theirself a snappi! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Deborah on Tuesday 23 August, 2011 Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I use these with my flats. They are one of the best cloth diapering inventions ever! I've never used a safety pin before...and I'm glad I never have to! These are super easy to use and super easy to clean. It seems kind of pricey to pay almost $4.00 for a little piece of plastic, but honestly if it cost more, I would still buy it. That's how awesome it is. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Melissa on Wednesday 23 March, 2011 Cotton Babies Verified Purchase Love these! I bought one to use with Econobum covers and Indian prefolds, and I am so happy with them! I would be cloth diapering even if I only had pins, but these make it so much easier to get a good fit with prefolds. I just ordered another one in a different color to use just in case my first one got lost or damaged (and also to color coordinate with the covers :-) ). Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by elizabeth on Wednesday 09 March, 2011 Cotton Babies Verified Purchase These are great! I just bought a second one because my bottom prongs rubber ring busted open but i was terrified of using safety pins because my baby is a squirmer i mostly use aio but on laundry days i use prefolds and snappis are a must must must! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Abby on Tuesday 15 February, 2011 Where were Snappi fasteners 10 years ago when I had my firstborn? I love these things! I think pins look cuter, but with having arthritis in my right hand, these are a life saver! They make diaper changes a breeze for those using contours and prefolds. You just hook them on and go. I like to let my baby go without a cover when we are at home, and these are perfect for that. They are definitely worth the price! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Kelsie on Friday 28 January, 2011 Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I definitely reccomend these over diaper pins. I am a new mom and neither my husband or I could make cloth diapering work with pins. I was ready to give up on it entirely until I found these. They are so easy to use and I don't have to worry about poking my baby or myself. A must have for cloth diapering. Rating: [3 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Candace on Tuesday 11 January, 2011 Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I am totally new to cloth diapering and thought the Snappi would make it easier to cloth diaper instead of pins. However, I couldn't find where a size is specified to determine when you need to buy the "toddler" size. My son is 18 months and I ordered the regular Snappi. My mistake. They are obviously too small. They need to specify a weight chart so parents new to cloth diapering (with a baby that isn't a newborn!) know when to order toddler size. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Amie on Friday 13 August, 2010 Cotton Babies Verified Purchase Well, this item is just totally and completely the BEST! I had diaper pins all ready for when my son was born but a friend showed me these and...well...the pins were only used 2x. Simply a must have especially with a wiggle worm like my boy. Thank you! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Rachael on Monday 05 July, 2010 Cotton Babies Verified Purchase Love these! When I was pregnant, I swore up and down that I'd use the fun & "easy" pockets and AIO's... Now that he's 8 months old, we've been through every type known to man. I enjoy trying new dipes, but I LOVE the smell of clean prefolds and I get the best fit with a Snappi! I'm willing to try pins, but the Snappi is safer for a squirmy baby, in my opinion, and husband-friendly too! We're a mostly prefolding family and I did not have snappis for my first and always had newborn blowout issues & dirty covers (using PF as a lay-in). With baby #2, we've been snappi-ing 100% and it makes a world of difference! Rarely a leak.
Sadly - the toddler size I got for my big girl just broke! I don't know if that is a common problem, but the lower prong's rubbery ring just ripped open. And while it does look like it "tears" the cloth diaper once washed and dried they fibers are all back in place. It only looks like it tears if you have it too tight by the way. When used under a wrap you do not need to make it so tight. Use it to keep the diaper in place the wrap keeps the diaper on baby. Works wonderfully, where were these the last time I cloth diapered?
