Cotton Babies Verified PurchaseI really like these. They have saved my prefolds from being left unused on our diaper shelf. I love that prefolds are so absorbant, but I can't stand that wet feeling they have against my son. Best of both worlds. We use flip inserts and AIO's a lot, but it looks like prefolds have been added back on a regular basis to our mix! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

Cotton Babies Verified Purchase Almost a year later, we're still using & loving these. I've been using these to make everything from Flip Trainers to Sustainablebabyish fitteds stay dry for my son. His skin can't tolerate any fleece but thankfully he's fine with the suedecloth these are made of.
I've also stuffed trifolded flats & prefolds inside these and have laid the stay dry sock on top when I'm pinning flats. We have maybe 10-12 of these but I'm thinking of picking up a few more since we have been using them so much in everything. These are such an economical way to make just about anything stay dry. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I destroyed my BG's by ignoring advice and drying them in the dryer, though I did get 2 1/2 years out of them (through one child, and the first few months of the 2nd's life), but I was still frustrated. I had all these inserts, but couldn't use them in other covers because the microfiber is too harsh on my daughter's bum. I actually was thinking about trying to find some of this type of fabric to make a little cover just like this for the inserts, but it never got off the drawing board. Then, I saw these on the CB website and decided to give them a try.
They have EXCEEDED my expectations! They are soft and comfy for her, easy to stuff, and they fit beautifully in the Thirsties duo wrap snaps I use for her prefolds. They fit trimmer than my econobum or Indian prefolds, which is nice with certain outfits, and they are super easy to use. In addition, they don't bunch, so when she poops it rarely gets on the covers. Bonus! I got my 12 diapers back, and I'm thrilled!!!
The only criticism I have is that I wrote to CB about my issue, and they didn't suggest these, which surprises me because I don't think they are brand new. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I discovered I can't do without these. No matter what gets stuffed in them, they leave the skin dry. They dry so easily as well. A great addition to both Econoubum and Flip systems for a rash free, dry diaper. I agree that large prefolds won't easily fit, but with one fold down, it fits. Very quick to use. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase When I originally bought this insert sock I basically just tossed it aside, but now it's the perfect addition for my nighttime diapers. When my baby started sleeping through the night she would wake up with a rash from being wet, and this was the perfect solution for her! As of right now (it's nighttime), she's sleeping with one of these socks stuffed with a flat, in a fitted, with a cover. This has been bulletproof for us! Plus, I am happy to know that in about ten hours when she wakes up, she will be rash free due to these socks. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase Love these insert socks. I use them specifically with Econobum shells and put either an Econobum prefold inside or a bumGenius microfiber insert. They're super soft and comfortable on baby's bottom. Much softer than the prefolds! It's a really good alternative to the bumGenius 4.0. I still love my 4.0's but the Econobum cover, insert sock over whatever insert is much lighter and cooler for a really hot day or a snug outfit. Baby loves them! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

Cotton Babies Verified Purchase These fit very well in GroVia shells, especially with a MF insert. Very trim.
We actually rarely use them, that is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. I find it just as easy to use a prefold in covers and a fleece stay dry as it is to use this sock.

I use mostly the BG 4.0s, but I prefer to use these socks stuffed with a microfiber insert and a hemp insert in a Flip cover when it's naptime or when we go out and about. I prefer these (stuffed) to the stay-dry inserts and even the organic inserts. They seem to fit in the Flip cover better and you can still choose what to stuff them with. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

I have two kids in diapers and needed to save some money so I went to Costco and bought the 36 pack of microfiber towels for $15.00 and I bought 10 of these socks. I tri fold the microfiber towels and put them inside this cotton babies sock, put it inside of a flip diaper and it works great. I have no leaks, no smells, and best of all I saved a ton of money. This also works well for the econobums. If you are just starting to cloth diaper getting the econobum covers, these pockets, and some microfiber towels and you are good to go. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase They keep baby dry. but they do not work well for me to stuff and lay inside a cover, when we tried this they leaked horribly. so I just lay them inside my prefold to keep baby dry. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I have to add sometime to my last review of these. They work great with the Bum Genius inserts, but these WILL NOT accomodate a premium pre-fold diaper. We fold the pre-fold into thirds and lay it in a diaper cover, and the premium pre-fold is TOO LONG for these socks. An infant pre-fold fits perfectly though. Maybe when they said it will accomodate a premium pre-fold they meant to lay it on top of a pre-fold when using the pre-folds the traditional way, with a snappi or pins. The wording, however, made me think that a premium pre-fold would fit INTO the sock, which it does not. Still, it's great to use with an infant pre-fold, and the BG inserts. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I LOVE these socks! I stuff a Bum Genius insert into the sock and lay it into a cover, and we're good to go! We've had no leaks thus far, and the poop just rolls off of the sock into the toilet. This will give you a "pocket like" diaper at a fraction of the cost, since you can re-use your covers. We go through maybe 2 covers/day. Sometimes only 1. Wipe the cover with a cloth after each use and put a new sock/insert into the cover and go! Without these, we would not be CDing, becasue my daughter has sensetive skin. This keeps the urine away from her skin and her bottom stays dry! Can't say enough great things! Rating:  [3 of 5 Stars!]

Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I bought 18 of these to use with the BG microfiber inserts to use with my Flips. I LOVED them and it was cheaper than buying a lot of BG 3.0. I use Flips during the day and BG OS at night. The inserts work...no leaks, but, they gave my son diaper rash!!!! I will try using a diaper cream with them and if it messes up the inserts oh well!!!!
