Reviewed by Sarah on Monday 11 January, 2010I love these diapers, we have been using them for about 12 months now and they still look brand new, no staining, no smell (unless I accidentally use too much detergent). I did just purchance the "fix kit" to replace the elastic and velcro, which was very easy and has worked beautifully. I would highly recommend these diapers to anyone. I purchased 18 and I only do diaper laundry 2 times a week, I would also recommend the spray and the diaper liners. Those work beautifully for solid waste! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]
Reviewed by Jordan on Tuesday 03 November, 2009 I like these so much better than the AIO's. These dry in one cycle unlike the AIO which takes at least 3 cycles. These fit my 8 pound new born beautifully at the smallest setting. I can see there is plenty of room for her to grow into them in the larger snaps. I absolutely love these! They also launder beautifully and do not retain any traces of ammonia or poopie smell. Rating:  [3 of 5 Stars!]

Here are the pros and cons: Pros: 1. adjustable size makes them long lasting; 2. very absorbent especially with a booster added; 3, trim fit; 4. they work when treated right Cons: 1. cannot use any rash creams or ointments -will ruin the absorbency. Took 3 complete soakings with blue dawn to make them usable again. 2. Wasn't a good fit for newborn, even a newborn over 8 lbs. Not practical for the first 3-4 months when babies poop all the time. You'll go through them way too fast and need way too many. Use prefolds instead. 3. My son is now 26 lbs and the diapers are too small, even though they company states they will fit to 35 lbs. I tried a regular BumGenius in large size (up to 30 lbs) and it fits him fine. 4. Even with a booster, they are not absorbent enough to last all night once my son started sleeping through the night. Reviewed by Jessica on Monday 13 July, 2009 We've decided to switch to cloth before our second son is born because having two in diapers is pricey, theses were the first we bought and I LOVE them! The only issue I really have with them is trying to get the sizing and the inserts in just right to prevent leaks but that's a user issue not a product issue and after a couple of uses I figured it out. We also bought an extra pack of inserts and doublers for night time because our 18 month old is a heavy wetter, we use one insert and two doublers and he can make it through a 10 hour period (at night) with no leaks! They have saved me a lot of money and are so easy to use that even my husband can change the baby! I wash and assemble diapers ahead of time so they are ready when needed. Because they fit like disposable diapers I can send them with my child to the church nursery. I have recommended these to all of my friends with new babies. View all 5 reviews |
