Piro is very cute, bendable, guy. He holds his shape with the tension on 2 bungee style cords you don't see so he can stand up straight on his own. He is also top heavy so when you bend him he will fall over. When he bends the wood makes a soft satisfying clanky sound. We like to hold him by the base and shake him back and forth just for the sound. By watching my daughter I've come to the conclusion he is very nice to munch on, insert here contented coos as he is nibbled on. Happily, he is bigger than I thought he'd be and is the perfect handful for my 7 month old baby. These Haba products are what I would imagine the old fashioned Santa and his elves would have given away. They are extremely well crafted and the simple details have made them instantly cherished by our family.
