I was very unhappy with this product, my son will urinate once and be soaking wet. It is as if there is no waterproof layer at all. And unfortunately, they have been used so can't be returned.

I bought one pair of these and one pair of Little Beetle Learners for my son. We were at the stage of potty training where he would go potty if I took him but he wouldn't tell me he had to go and therefore was having accidents if I didn't anticipate his needs. Pros: He was able to pull these up and down himself, unlike the other more expensive brand we bought. Also, they kept him reasonably dry when he had an accident. For a small accident, the outside of the training pants was still dry. For a large accident, they were damp and his pants got damp but there were no puddles. These are much more absorbent than regular Gerber training pants, which we also have and like for other reasons. Cons: They take a long time to dry. Not having side snaps makes poopy accidents more of a chore. I recommend these training pants.

Very disappointed! After reading other reviews, I knew that my son would probably still get somewhat wet with these after accidents. But for $14, I DID NOT ANTICIPATE having to deal with a big puddle after every accident. What good is all the extra padding and PUL liner if they leak so bad? If you have a very light wetter, these may work. The problem is not just that they leak through the legs: the pee soaks straight through all the layers to the outside regardless of the so-called "waterproof" layer. It was really no different than having him wear 2 pairs of the cheaper Gerber padded training underwear. I wish the Bum Genius brand made trainers. The other brands haven't matched them for quality from what I can see.

I love these training pants! I bought them for my daughter to wear during the day, but she wanted them for night. She only wore them 2 times before she was night trained. She couldn't feel the wet when she was wearing Pull-Ups, but she could with these, so she started getting up at night to go. They're really absorbant, but they do leak, so they shouldn't be used for kiddos that aren't usually using the toilet in the day by themselves. They're great for leaky moments though.

I really like these training pants. We have just begun potty training, and these are withstanding a full bowel/bladder explosion. Yes, they get wet, even on the outside, but pee doesn't go all over the floor/bed/wherever. The only thing I have to compare to are the Gerber training pants. She might as well have nothing on with those (the pee pours out like a shower), but the Imse Vimse pants keep the pee in- and she feels the yucky wet sensation. She is 26lbs and the x-small are perfect if not a little big.

The ONLY thing that would make these pants better is snaps in the sides for those special accidents. The trim on the leg opening is definitely NOT waterproof, so expect a little leakage there on bigger misses, but I love that these have a waterproof layer in the body since we've just started pt'ing, and they're SO soft!

I love these little training pants! My daughter is not completely potty trained and so I love to use these while we're at home and helping her learn. She feels like she's wearing big girl underwear (unlike pullups that feel just like a diaper!!) And when she does have an accident, it rarely leaks, which I can understand why it wouldn't be completely waterproof because it's made for "small" accidents to help them learn. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because one pair had the elastic snap when I pulled it out of the dryer. Imse Vimse has since replied to me and stated that they will replace it, but it's been quite a while since I first contacted them. But I love them just the same and the jungle print is super cute for a boy or girl.

I bought these for my 2 year old who is potty trained w/ no accidents during the day but the occasional accident at night... I didn't want to keep putting him in diapers at night so I purchased these. They are great, true training pants. They are NOT completely leak proof and your child will definately feel wet if they have an accident in them! My son has small accidents and will "catch" himself before completely emptying his bladder, so they have been ideal for us.

I purchased these to use with my twins while potty training. So far, they have had accidents in them but little to no leakage and the fabric feels very wet inside. They are very soft and not bulky when being worn. I am so pleased I am going to buy more!
