I only ordered one just to try it out and it is very absorbent. I'm hesitant to use it by itself obviously but I will order a few more to see if it wors for my heavy wetter. You can't beat the price tag either.

I must have the most heavy of wetters. I use two inserts or a pre-fold and and an insert in every single diaper for my 1 1/2 year old and I have had to do that since she was 9 months old. She is changed every 2 hours or less I didn't find these hemp "doubler's" to make any difference. I do use them to cover the microfiber of some of my inserts when using flips or other covers. The size large is a perfect fit.

These paired with the Flip organic inserts were a lifesaver! I was looking for something, anything that would work for overnights. He leaked through everything I tried. Someone mentioned how great these were with the Flip organic inserts for nighttime. Yea! It worked! NO leaks! I have tried to mix it up... different doublers or different inserts, but the combo is what keeps leaks away. I love them both! Oh... and the Flip covers as well! ;)

I bought 6 of these to give them a try since I have a super heavy wetter! As far as absorbant they work great they just took a few more than the suggested washes to work very well. I took away one star because 2 of the 6 doublers washed badly and now the seam is messed up. It still absorbs, they just won't flatten back out evenly even with an iron. So more than anything those 2 are uncomfortable to sit on so I just put them on the bottom most layer in his pocket diapers.

This doubler is okay in my opinion. It works wonderfully over a flat for my 2 year old at night because she isn't a super heavy wetter. My 3 month old son on the other hand is. He wets straight through these. They do wash and dry very easily though. I would still recommend these to anyone needing a little extra absorbency in their diapers. I may need to buy another one to see if 2 of these layered together works on my heavy wetter.

First of all, i have to say that i was really dissapointed when i recieved my order. The picture shows three liners total & i thought that was what i was purchasing. I ordered 2 packs & recieved only two liners total. Then i washed them the recommended number of times in super hot water, and within an hour, my 4 month old leaked through her diaper. I had stripped all of my diapers the day before so i knew it wasnt the diaper. I tried it in a different kind of diaper & this time doubled them up... Still leaked. My baby is not even a heavy wetter... Ill just stick to my prefolds.

At 10 months old my son could soak through 2 Fuzzi Bunz inserts in a little over 2 hours and 1 insert would last 1.5 to 2 hours, if we were lucky. I was resigned to having to change him frequently during the day, but we needed a solution, besides disposables, for at night. Our son sleeps 10-12 hours a night (and drinks 40 to 60 oz of fluids a day) and 3 of these liners did not always do the trick at night. (He was dry about 1 morning out of every 3) After 10 days of trying this we went back to disposables at night and tried the inserts during the day. We used 1 FB insert and 1 hemp and could now reliably make it 3 hours in-between changes. (exciting!) We are going back to the drawing board to find something for at night, but depending on how expensive finding that solutions ends up we may order more of these liners for day time use.

I used one with a microfiber insert at night and it worked just as well for us. I also tried an experiment and used one on it's own for a couple of hours and we still had no leaks. I feel more secure using this with a microfiber insert, just because they are a little narrow, but they are very absorbent. What I like about the hemp babies is I can order the size large and then fold it to fit a smaller baby and have an insert that is almost like the joey bunz premium but for less cost.

I wrote a review raving about these a while back, but wanted to update! I had only used the size large in the past, but ordered the size small this time for newborn purposes. I think I like size small better! Size small is like an oval - pretty much like the size of a Fuzzi Bunz insert, shorter. The size large is more like a long, thin strip and its about as long as a Bum Genius insert, but narrower. After a year of washings, there is a big difference in softness of the hemp as compared to new hemp babies. I wouldn't put the older one next to my sons skin, but in a pocket diaper or under prefold, totally fine! The absorbancy is great still. However, the new doublers are so soft and have a slight stay dry feature to them as they pull moisture into themselves or on to the fabric beneath, and I feel very comfortable putting that closest to baby's skin. Another perk is that it is made from natural fibers, so it doesn't retain stench like synthetic MF does. This is a product line that should be expanded! I wish BG products came with an option for Hemp Babies instead of the Microfiber!

I've had these for a year now, and they are in great condition! They work so well to boost a diaper's absorbency if I am worried we'll have longer between changes. I also use two or three of them at night with a prefold or a different brand of hemp insert (or even with BG MF insert) for total leak proofing. After a year, one of the tags came off, but that's not a big deal. Also, they are not as soft and I wouldn't put them directly next to a newborn as I had done when they were new. However, I think they are a great product, especially for the price.
