Cloth Diaper 101
a comprehensive resource
about cloth diapers!
Product Description
Flushable liners can be used between the diaper and the baby's skin, letting moisture pass through to the diaper while preventing solids to soak into the diaper, which will take the mess out of washing your cloth diapers. Just flush away the mess, and spend more time with your baby instead of dunking diapers. These bio-degradable flushable liners are an all natural paper product; they are unbleached and biodegradable.
  • Flushable
  • Keeps baby drier
  • Makes diaper cleaning easy
  • Made of 98% unbleached paper and 2% viscose

I've tried several brands of flushable liners and these are the worst. They are large and stay put but it's at the cost of comfort. These are almost as rough as a sheet of notebook paper and gave my 16 month old daughter her first nasty diaper rash. Unfortunately I opened them and can't return them. I would exchange them for Bummis in a heartbeat!

I was SO BUMMED when I opened these up. I was using the Bummis - which were great except a bit small. SO I got these instead. Size is super - but the feel is AWFUL. To me they were more like notebook paper than a liner. I feel guilty putting it in my toddler's cloth diaper - the diaper is so soft and then to put this in there is a contradiction. I'll keep looking for a better solution...

Love these! Like other users have said, you can get several uses out of them after washing. I use them as a barrier to protect the prefolds from rash ointment with night time diapers. I see others posting about getting a rash. They've actually done the opposite here, helped to clear up a rash for my son.

No sooner than I sing the products praises does it let me down. Just like another reviewer noted, the first roll was great, but the second caused horrible rash. I'm using them up interspersed with another brand, GroVia which is much silkier, but not (really) reusable. They hold up in the wash, though, so I don't have to sort out the diaper at the same time as changing my little houdini.

I tried a couple of brands, and these are most convenient and cost-effective. The wet go in the diaper pail straight through to the dryer for reuse, and poopies go in the toilet-simple. I think I usually get 2-3 uses out of each one, and I feel comfortable using a thin layer of diaper cream with this barrier.

I love these! They cover the entire stay dry liner with my Flip Covers. I wash them with my diapers (if only wet) and they wash well. I can reuse them 3-4 times! I will never go without these... it makes life so much easier.

The first pack (there were two packs taped together) were great it made poop diapers easy to deal with. THey are huge so I cut them in half to make them last longer. Absolutely no problems and would have rated this product a 5, but I finally opened the second package a month ago and my son started getting some wicked diaper rash. We first thought it was due to improper wiping at daycare, but after conversations with the daycare I decided to try not using the liners and low and behold no more rash. The second package much have been from a different batch. So I have to give it a lower rating. Super bummed about it too because I really liked not having to spray every dirty diaper.

A. Ma. Zing. I bought these because I was running low, purchasing something else here at Cottonbabies, and it was the only brand sold here at the time. Since it was the same price I went for it. Well, when I got them I thought they were way too big, much bigger than the other brand I was using. The size was too awkward to cut in half to use for two diaper changes. Well, turns out the size was great. Really kept in more poo than the other brand. You might need to check that it is tucked in your diaper all the way. This is what really made me fall in love: Yesterday I took the diapers out of the wash and lo and behold one of these had made it in the wash unintentionally. It was completely intact! Now I can reuse the ones that are just wet! This is amazing because these actually flush with the poo down our terribly plumbed toilet AND they withstand washing for reuse. I am a believer!

I LOVE these! I almost didn't buy them because of all the review saying they are "scratchy", but they are NOT! They are much softer than the paper diapers my baby was previously wearing that I feel fine putting them on her all day. They work fabulously to keep most poop off the prefolds underneath; just drop them off the diaper into the toilet and flush, then wash the diaper. A huge PLUS is that they wash fabulously, so if it's only a wet diaper I can drop the whole prefold plus liner into the bin and not worry about separating anything. I have had some go through several washes without fraying yet. If these ever go off the market I will cry!

Fantastic. Just try it!!!! They catch the poops so for the most part there is no need for scraping, dunking, spraying. I am totally spoiled with these. They wick away moisture a little too. Kinda pricey if you're on a really tight budget, but I figure even if you used 1 package of liners a month - you are still going to save a ton with the cloth diapering.

The liners are made wider than the diaper so that you can wrap them around the insert and protect it more. If you fold the liner you may have a problem with leaking because the fluid can't get through the liner to the diaper quick enough:)

These flushable diaper liners are too large for the flip diapers (I purchased the small/infant size) so I have to fold them, they are very rough and they do not allow urine to pass through causing leaks and many clothing changes. I just received these liners on Monday and today is Thursday and I have had 2 bed and 6 outfit changes... very disappointing! I thought that I was buying the same liners that cotton babies has sold in the past but I looked around and found the bummis bio-soft liners is actually what I used to have. I recommend the bummis bio-soft liners... I had no problems with them and give those liners a 5 star.

These have worked great for us! The liners catch most of the solids and we flush them away and wash the diapers. No scraping or rinsing. We have been reusing the liners that are only wet by washing with the diapers and they last several washings.

I bought these so that I could use diaper rash ointment on my baby and keep it off of the diaper. These did not stay in place at all and now I have the ointment on the diaper. A complete waste of my money.

My daughter will be 2 in July, and we've been using these liners since she was 6 months old. We never had any issues with diaper rash or irritation, although they do feel a little rough at first. I love that they can be washed & reused (if only pee) and they do get softer after a washing. And they make cleaning poop diapers so much easier!

Horrible! I hate these. I actually ordered these almost 2 years ago. They are so rough. If you end up washing these with your dipes they do get a bit softer and you can reuse them, but I don't reccomend it. I did with my son and he started getting a horrible rash that cleared up with 2 diaper changes not using them. So I tried only using them when I knew he was going to poop so I didn't waste my money and it just didn't work out. They're also pretty big so I tried cutting them down a bit, didn't make much of a difference.

I liked these for the size and the claim that you can wash and reuse but they are very scratchy and gave my little one a rash. He does not normally have sensitive skin so even though others mentioned the rash I thought we would be ok. Wish I wouldn't have wasted the money on these.

Used these liners with my econobums and flip cd's and they did not stay in place. I also noticed they were giving my 2 month old a rash, even with very frequent changing. I am no longer using them, but will need to find a softer liner for when he starts eating solids.

I used these for CD'ing while our son had a rash...it didn't catch his runny poo (he's 2 months) and it didn't protect the diaper from his cream either..this is probably for the bigger and more solid poo.

I thought these liners were alright at first, then I noticed that my baby started having a rash. Within a couple of days it was a wide open sore. The liners did their job though. I wish my DS's bum wasn't as sensitive. The liners also are very starchy and scratchy.
