Reviewed by Jacinta on Monday 28 June, 2010 I've been using the XXL for a couple of weeks (washing frequently) along with the diaper pail I bought from Cottonbabies. It fits in the pail wonderfully, but the smell is horrific, even after washing. What's worse, the stink transfers to my diapers. After putting my diapers in the pail with the bag I've had to bleach them to get the smell out, something I've never had to do before but no amount of regular washing was removing the odour caused by the bag. I'm so disappointed with this product. Rating: [1 of 5 Stars!]
Reviewed by Barbara on Saturday 26 June, 2010 I have two of these bags in the size XXL, they fit the pail great, but they're terrible pail liners. I've only been using these for 4 months, alternating which one is in the pail while the other is getting washed. I followed the washing instructions perfectly, only ever line dried, never put in a dryer, etc. They leak all through my diaper pail now, it's disgusting. The entire outside of the bag is soaked after two days and there is literally a puddle in my pail. I don't recommend these liners to anyone. Rating:  [4 of 5 Stars!]

The smell isn't overwhelming and I can only smell it when I actually sniff the bag, so I just stopped doing that... Rating:  [5 of 5 Stars!]

I fit about four bumGenius os, or Fuzzi Bunz. Its perfect for my diaper bag. I have never had a smell or leak problem. Great product! Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!]
Reviewed by Rebecca on Friday 07 May, 2010 We one one xx for our extra diaper pail bag and 2 mediums (we alternate) to attach one to the downstairs changing station. We like them and our only issue is the cloth weave along the drawstring is fraying. the velco on our covers catches really easily on the edge and causes the fraying. Overall we are happy with these totes though. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]
Reviewed by Susanna on Thursday 08 April, 2010 I have three different sizes of these great bags: the smallest one for the diaper bag, the medium one for daycare, and the XXL for the diaper pail. I have two in each size and that is very necessary so you always have enough bags while one is being washed. I have never had any problems with odor, and I don't even use the tie-string, except in the diaper bag. Part of the key to having no odor is the Bummis liners. I hate the idea of using a toilet sprayer and I don't like trying to wash poop out of my diapers so I use the very soft Bummis disposable liners (super soft!). This means my diaper pail really doesn't contain poop. By the time the pail is full, I do get a slight ammonia odor, but like I said, I don't close my bag, I just keep a lid on the pail. Gist: I love these bags - they make cloth diapering very easy! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

I've put it through the sanitary load in my HE machine (super hot water) every night for 11 months and it hasn't shrunk. I hang it to dry every night and it is dry in only a of couple hours. Reviewed by Megan on Friday 13 November, 2009 I am surprised by the mixed reviews as I am very happy with this product. We bought ours in Jan 2008 and have been using it since...so nearly two years. Still seems to have the waterproof lining as there are no wet spots on the steps to the basement where I keep it. I wash it with the diapers every time - never dry it but it dries in like an hour so that's no big deal (We use Allen's detergent). We now have a 7mo old and a 2.5yo in diapers so it gets a lot of use with all manner of poop too. We have one xlarge bag and if there are a few diapers, I just set them where the bag goes and then throw them in after the bag has dried. I don't put it in a pail.
I think that maybe what folks aren't doing is that you have to completely pull the drawstring all the way SHUT and then the smell doesn't come out! Again, no leaks here. I am also not one to use like a toilet wash to get the poop out so if the poop doesn't flick out, I just throw it in the bag. Still no smell to the bag for us. Great Product. Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!]
Reviewed by Jamie on Saturday 03 October, 2009 Although these bags work well, I have to agree that the one I bought most recently does tend to hold an odor, even after washing as directed. I bought another one of these bags about 7 months ago and that one does not hold an odor, but it is wearing out now. These bags do their job and work well, but since they get washed so often do not expect them to last more than about 6-8 months without breaking down. Overall I am happy with the product. Reviewed by Tamar on Wednesday 23 September, 2009 I've been using these bags for about 9 months now. I have two large ones for the pail and two for the diaper bag. They get very heavy usage and I wash each about twice a week. After about 5 months of use the plastic coating inside started stripping off and as a result moisture started seeping through. Now after 9 months of use they are totally not waterproof at all and I'm looking for a replacement. I would definetely not buy these again. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

It is the right size for 2 days worth of Bumgenius AIO diapers, liners & wipes. I wash it every time I wash diapers ( every 2 days) and hang dry it. I have never ever noticed a smell with the bag. Even after I had it for awhile I took a good wiff of it after washing and I just don't smell anything. No leaks, love it! Rating: [2 of 5 Stars!]

Reviewed by Melissa on Tuesday 12 May, 2009 I now have 2 XXL bummis totes for my diaper bin, and started with one. Tried getting by without it but I definatly recommend getting two, otherwise you'll have dirty diapers sitting around waiting for your tote to dry, and that's not fun at all.
It seems very durable, I've had no problems with it, I wash it every time i wash the diapers, and hang dry it, the XXL size fits perfect in the diaper bin I got on this site. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

I throw it in the washer and dryer along with the diapers and have no issues with smells or leaking. The size is odd though, I wish it was longer and less square. Rating:  [3 of 5 Stars!]

I bought the largest one for the diaper pail that I bought here on cottonbabies. The problem is that it's a STRUGGLE to get the lip of the bag around the mouth of the pail. The other problem I have is the smell. The pail doesn't stink up the house, but the bag really hangs on to odors even after washing twice, and drying outside. I do not recommend this one! Reviewed by Christine on Friday 25 April, 2008 We have for about 2 years been using extra large bags for in our diaper pail, and small bags for in the diaper bag. I love the extra large bags. No leaking or anything, and for half the time we have washed and dried them on hot with the diapers.
The small bags are another story, though. The dimensions are just wrong. They are long and narrow, so you can't just throw the dirty diaper in, you have to fold or roll it up pretty small to get it into the neck of the bag. Other bags that are not so narrow are much less gross.
The rating is an average of a very good rating for the larger bags and a mediocre rating for the small bags. Rating: [1 of 5 Stars!]

It does a great job of containing odors but over the past 8 months the drawstring area at the top of the bag has shrunk, making it difficult to fit around the top of the diaper pail.
