I was skeptical about these diapers because I've never used a diaper with gussets and have only used one sized diapers. Size large fits my 22 month old, 30 lb girl well with room to grow. The elastic around the legs didn't leave marks on her 'muscled' thighs, but the elastic in the back around one side did. Maybe it was user error? I do like these covers, they work well over a 'boingoed' prefold with a stay dry doubler. I did have to make sure to tuck the tag inside in the back. They look good on her, seem comfortable, and are a great price. I'll be trying these in newborn when baby number three arrives this summer. I recommend these! It'd be nice if they had some different colors or prints, but white is nice. :-)

I have a couple of well-worn size large in these that I got as seconds. I have really liked them for my chunky 2 year old who is now 38 lbs. I use them with red-edge GMD prefolds, which are just a touch small for this size cover but work well. They have held up so well that I decided to try a couple size small for my newborn-to-come. Looks like they are a good size for GMD yellow-edge prefolds. Flips are my fave for my red-edges, but I won't be able to make that switch for a while I'm sure. Sure wish Flips came in a smaller "size 1" like Thirsties. Anyway, I think they are a great buy for the price!

These were some of our first covers, bought 4 1/2 years ago when we began to use cloth. They are still going strong. No leaks. No wear and tear. Velcro still working beautifully.

For a basic, cheap cover for newborns, I don't think you can beat these! They fit well, adjust easily, and readily contain the poo.

We bought 4 of these in newborn size to pair with Indian prefolds until our son got big enough for his BG OS. These are a great fit and held in all of his power poops. We did add a little velcro to the outside so the flaps could overlap at first so we could get a snugger fit, but we only needed that for a few days. We should have gotten a few more covers, because the gussets would get a little poo on them sometimes -- but they never leaked. They also fit under his umbilical stump very well.

I used these in size small on my baby until she was 3-4 months old, and they were just fine. They do the job. I have a size large for her now, and it's pretty good too, although it doesn't look as comfortable as her Thirsties and Blueberry covers because the edges aren't as soft.

I eventually figured these out and the prefold was the problem more than the prowrap. I no longer had issues with this diaper and I used it for quite some time until recently my mother put all my diapers in the wash with regular detergent and no matter how much I tried to fix it they all turned out awful. I am now pregnant with my 5th child and I plan on using prowrap newborn with indian prefold preemies for the first few weeks and then I'll be switching to Econobum and Flips and maybe if I get some money together some Bum 4.0's. Anyways long story short, my prior review was incorrect and now I would rate this cover as great as long as you have a great prefold like Flip prefolds or Econobum prefolds. I hope to really love Indian prefolds too and the newborn prowraps.

I've had these in newborn, small, and medium, and used them on three babies. I think they're one of the best fitting covers for a smaller newborn, however as the sizes get larger the fit has gotten worse for all of my kids. I hardly use my mediums because the fit is so odd --the rise is too long for the waist size, which makes the legs are gappy. I can't get them to cover a snappied prefold through the hips, but they're too droopy for me to trifold in. So while I would definitely recommend these in the newborn size, I would go with something else for an older baby. As far as construction goes, these seem to be pretty durable, and I have been happy with the way they hold up to use.

I just received these in the mail for my son who is around 27 lb. I ordered the large and the x-large and they seem way too big for the weight classification listed. I guess my advice would be to round down on the size. I should have gotten the medium for now and the large for later.

My now potty training 2 year old has used these since birth. All of the sizes have fit my skinny little guy perfectly and my wallet love them! Never had a blow out - I love that the gussets stop any protential mess before it hit's his pants. I wash them in hot with a little soap, a little vinegar in the rinse cycle, and dry them on high with the diapers. He has used these at day care, no muss, no fuss. I recommend them to everyone who wants to CD but not break the bank. Your child's rash free bum will thank you for it :)

I have tried several other covers and these are by far the best ones. Cloth diapers in general hold breastfed baby poops better and these covers are great -- no blow outs, no leaks. I have read other reviews of them where they say the diaper is too long -- that's because you need to fold them differently and stretch the cover a bit to get the diaper situated. This is my third baby and I'm right back to the Prorap Classics -- they wear like iron (even though I wash AND dry them which you're not supposed to do) and I've been very happy with them. Off to order more right now actually. ;-)

i bought four of these in newborn size, i loved that they had the scoop for my girl's cord care. They never leaked and fit well for about a month. then all of a sudden she was way to big for them. however they were great because they didnt come up very high on her belly like some other covers i had and if the cloth diaper was a little tall i could shove the extra fabric down inside the cover away from her stump. i'm going to buy some more in a larger size now that she's outgrown her newborn ones. great product.

I've had two of these for a little over a year now. We never loved the way the closures fitted, but the leg closures are very snug, and overall, they were leak-free. But a few weeks ago, I noticed the inner liner around the leg elastics *on both covers* has broken open. Disappointing.

We have several of these for our average-sized son. They are nothing special. We haven't had any leaks, but I'm not crazy about the fit on him at 12 lbs/8 weeks. We won't be buying them as he gets bigger. They are really oddly shaped on him and make it look like he's got diapers hanging to his knees. BUT, again, no leaks and really a great diaper cover in general.

These are the best diaper cover for a newborn. I bought 4. I used them with the Indian prefolds and a snappi. I tried laying them in the diaper cover without the snappi at first but that only lead to blowouts. A snappi is essential! She outgrew them in 6 weeks. Now she's in econobums but they did not fit her at first, so these covers were essential.

We bought these in small and newborn. These are a good cover for a newborn. Our son just didn't fit into our thirsties covers right away and the little cut out for his umbilical stump on these was great. However, once our son was a couple weeks old we started having problems with him soaking through the cover onto his clothes. He is a very heavy wetter. We had this problem particularly when he was in his car seat (I think because of the straps pressing on his diaper). We thought it was just an issue we were going to have to accept, but them when we started using the thirsties covers (once he fit into them) we noticed we didn't have this issue. We stopped using these covers after that and purchased more thirsties covers instead. We have never even used the small sized covers we bought. Summary: only cover our son could fit in when he was born, so glad we purchased them. However, love the Thirsties covers much better once he fit into them.

We had the small size of these for our long and lean baby. We didn't have any major leaks or messes but we pretty much only got one use out of the cover before having to toss it in the wash because we'd get just enough mess around the legs that you couldn't just wipe them off. We also had a little trouble with the piece of fabric above the velcro constantly folding down in front leaving the edge of the velcro to rub on baby's skin. We ended up leaving these in the drawer and using our Thirsties covers.

I used a few of these in the preemie size. They fit my daughter until she was almost 7 pounds. While I prefer Thirsties, these were great in those first few weeks when my daughter was too small for them. There were never any leaks or blowouts.
