Sorella Luna 100% Organic Cotton Menstrual Pads Reviews (13) Write Review Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Tyler on Thursday 15 April, 2010Good quality and super soft. We got the bigger ones and they are not bulky. They are just not a super thin disposable. They are like a regular size pad, not a thin one. We will be buying more. They are great. A really good pad for those who dont want to deal with the hassle of liners and such. Great product! Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Lace on Monday 02 November, 2009 I would give the smaller size pad a 2 and the larger size a 5, so I averaged it to a 4. The "regular" size is actually the exact same size as my Luna Pads Mini Pantyliner, but much thicker. But really, if you're using something so small, you probably don't need that much bulk. However, the larger size is about the size I expect from a regular, daytime pad, but again, a bit thicker. I found that although the smaller size pads move around in my underwear, the larger size does not (just more friction from increased surface area?). I used the larger pads exclusively for my postpartum flow and was very satisfied. I had no leaks and felt very comfortable. Rating: [2 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Heather on Wednesday 30 September, 2009 Sadly these are my least favorite of all the re-usable pads that I own... they are bulky and as mentioned by other reviewers they are short and tend to shift around.... I agree that they are good for at home or even at night with very snug panties... I am sticking with my lotus pads.... Rating: [1 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Ashley on Saturday 27 June, 2009 I do not like these pads. They are bulky and uncomfortable and shift around. Plus, they get misshapen in the wash. I bought some from a local seamstress that are similar in style to the luna pads which I like a lot. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Amy on Wednesday 03 June, 2009 These are great pads! At first I was skeptical going to cloth pads, thinking they would definitely leak, but I haven't had one leak yet! They are actually more comfortable than a disposable pad I think.
The only thing is that if you have the new front loading washer and dryers with the sterilize setting, this is too rough on them and they shred. They do fine in a regular cycle. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Trina on Wednesday 18 February, 2009 I love these pads. There are my favorite ones of all. They are very soft and super absorbent. I am so happy with them that I recently bought more! I have used every other brand there is and these are as good as it gets to me! Rating: [2 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Jennifer on Sunday 15 February, 2009 I am disappointed in these pads. They are soft, but they are a bit shorter than i expected, and can slip from front to back, so I wouldn't trust using them when not at home. I had been very excited to have something washable, but now, I'm not sure I'll even use them. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Jennifer on Saturday 14 February, 2009 These are my new favorite personal care item!! I wish I had these years ago! They are comfortable and not itchy/scratchy like dispoables are. And so far, they have washed up great! I just stack them next to the diapers in the pail until I'm ready to do the laundry and then I wash them separate. Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Melissa on Friday 23 January, 2009 I hate pads in general, but I decided to try out the Diva Cup and I needed a back-up that is reusable. I wanted pads made from organic materials. I really do prefer these over disposables since they don't feel so "dry" down there. They stay in place fairly well and they fold up nice after being used with the wing snaps. They wash up nice. I just soak mine in cold water until I am ready to wash them and I haven't had a stain yet. They are pretty absorbent and soft and didn't leak when I wore them overnight. I prefer the Diva Cup, but these are nice for when you are around the house and don't have to worry too much about them shifting. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Charlie on Thursday 23 October, 2008 I absolutely LOVE these! So much more comfortable - no more feeling like I'm wearing a diaper and dealing with crinkly plastic wrappings. I also just love how they fold up into a nice, neat little snappable "package" after use. I'm using them for post-pardum and don't usually use pads for regular cycles, but these make me greatly consider doing so. Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Melissa on Monday 17 March, 2008 These are very soft and comfortable to wear. I use them primarily as liners and back-up for my Diva Cup so I haven't had a true test of their absorbency yet, but the feel against the skin is great. At the end of the day, however, I do find myself reaching more often for the Happy Heinys for the slimmer feel and the waterproof barrier. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by April on Saturday 15 March, 2008 Awesome! Better than disposable - more comfortable - and you save money! It doesn't get much better than this! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Corinne on Monday 10 March, 2008 These are amazingly soft!!! I can't believe I wasted so much money on plastic! I am telling everyone I know!!!
