Cloth diapering has never been so easy!

bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diapers feature our patent pending butterfly closure system to provide a comfortable, trim fit. This simple design makes cloth diapering as easy as using disposables. The familiar design makes bumGenius one-size cloth diapers perfect for care providers who might be resistant to cloth diapering (including daycares).

Less Clutter

bumGenius One-Size Cloth Diapers fit most babies from 7 to 35+ pounds. No more sorting by size or having to carry multiple diapers when going out. Three snap-downs on the front of the diaper* allow you to easily adjust the size of the diaper as your baby grows. For newborns, fold down the insert stopper for an extra-small rise.

Only the Best for Your Baby

The soft, waterproof outer fabric keeps the diaper trim on your newborn and toddler. Soft, sueded inner fabric gently wicks moisture away from your baby's skin. Super stretchy, gentle leg and back elastic with rolled out casings keeps the yuk in and help to keep red marks away. Our unique covered* slot opening keeps your baby protected from moisture.

Absolutely love this diaper, I started with one to try it out, now I have six. Great fit, wash up easy with no special washing attention. Dry quick in dryer, I mostly line dry in the summer, they dry great that way too especially the covers. Excellent for overnight diaper with added newborn insert.

I use the diaper as as night time diaper as well I use the bumgenius one size insert and bumgenius newborn doubler dry all night. Oh my sons diaper rash is gone since i switched to cloth. Its so easy doing laundry and the shells dry super fast - i line dry the shells and dry the inserts and liners in the drier...

LOVE BumGenius 4.0. I've been CD'ing for over a month now and these are still my favorite. They fit well and we never have leaks. Wash well, no issues with snaps or hook/loop. Very happy :)

I am on week one using the bumgenius 4.0 pocket diapers for my 14 month old grandaughter I am raising. I am VERY pleased. The last time I used cloth diapers was 23 years ago! They keep her dry at night, something disposables could not do! I use the insert included and add a thirsties hemp liner at night and just the insert included during the day. I have had no leak issues and diaper rash seems to be a thing of the past! That was a huge issue while using disposables. My stash is currently 15 but will be adding another 9-12 to have an adequate supply so I don't have to wash every day. I would highly recommend these to everyone!

I've been using my 4.0s for a little over a year now and although we've had some issues I would still recommend them. We had issues with urine smell; once we changed detergent the problem was solved. We also had issues with the hook & loop; I've recently replaced it all with snaps. I wouldn't recommend the hook & loop unless you are prepared to have to replace it. We had issues with leaking; we bought additional full size inserts to double up at night and double up during the day with the newborn inserts. We've worked through our problems and I'm sure we would have had the same issues with any cloth diaper. I'll be adding to our stash when #2 comes along.

I was initially thrilled with my purchase of 24 BG 4.0 diapers. They rarely leak, fit great, and are adorable on my little boy. However, after 16 months of full time use we are beginning to have a lot of issues with these diapers. The elastic on just about all of my diapers is in the process of being replaced. Each diaper takes me about an hour to replace the elastic so this is obviously a time consuming project. The microfiber on the inside of most of the covers is pilling and is not as soft on baby's bum anymore. The last big issue I have with these diapers in their tendency to retain smell. No matter what stripping method I use they come out of the dryer smelling badly. I am disappointed with the lack of longevity of use for these diapers considering the very high price. I am looking to build our stash with other cloth diapers as we get ready to welcome our newest arrival this summer.

I have had a great experience with my stash of 18 BG 4.0's. I use them overnight, when we're out of the house, for church nursery, and for daycare. However my diapers are now 18 months old (some a little less) and my sitter reported a leak! I had just started noticing the the leg elastic in some of them didn't seem very stretchy anymore. I flipped each diaper inside out to examine the elastic and sure enough each diaper and every diaper on both sides of every leg had lost all elasticity where it was stitched to the diaper. When I contacted the company they explained that even in the best situations usually the diapers do not last through multiple children (mine didn't even get through#1) and best they could offer was a refresher kit for $1 each and it included velcro (which I don't need!). Instead I'm going to go buy my own elastic and replace it but it is going to take a lot of time and I am overall disappointed that they expect the elastic to wear out. The only good thing is that they placed the elastic in such a way that it is fairly accessible so hopefully the replacement will be seamless and the elastic I've purchased will hold up much better. Going forward I will not buy anymore 4.0's and stick to the smaller (some less expensive!) brands that have held up wonderfully!

This is my alltime favorite diaper. I love this! It is absorbant and I love the hook and loop closure to make middle of the night changing so much easier. I would recommend this diaper to anyone. We have Freetimes, Flips, these, and prefolds. I love all of them...but this one is by far the best in my opinion. I really like the added insert for extra absorbency. We haven't needed it yet, since our baby is only 2 months old, but it's nice to know it's there for when he needs it.

After many years of diapering and trying several different brands and styles, I always seem to come back to the bumGenius Pocket Diaper. We currently have 24 4.0 Pocket diapers (most with snap closure) and we love them. Trustworthy for outings, great for nights (with the right insert), stay-dry to keep baby comfortable, and fits a wide range of baby sizes and shapes. We sometimes use the MF inserts but often change them out for hemp, bamboo or cotton inserts. I recommend these diapers to any cloth diapering family, whether just starting out or a veteran cloth diaperer :) Highly recommend!

We have used Bumgenius 4.0 diapers with our son for 16 months now and LOVE THEM! We follow the washing instructions and use Charlie's soap and they seem to be great. We use the snap version. We do not have problems with leaking. We change our son every 2.5 to 3 hours on average. At night we put a hemp babies doubler in with the bumgenius insert and we rarely have problems with leaking at night. We recommend these to anyone.

Before my son was born I went ahead and purchased a supply of the 4.0s based on the overwhelmingly rave reviews from different sites as well as good friends. They seemed ok at first, but very quickly became a total pain. It is a rare occasion that I don't have to change my son's entire outfit along with every diaper. THEY LEAK pee like crazy!! Through the leg holes, out the top, through the tabs on the sides, everywhere! Today I neurotically changed him every 1-2 hours, and EVERY time his clothes were wet. I'm wondering what kind of babies all these positive reviewers have bc this 3-month old sure isn't going to start peeing less...As much as I want to just sell them all off and use good ole pampers I can't afford to now as it was such an investment. But once he is older I may have to anyway, unless I want to be changing him every 15 minutes!! SO annoyed and frustrated, would not recommend these diapers.

We originally bought all gdiaper pants and cloth inserts and had about 75% success rate with them during the day. They weren't even an option at night, though--not enough room for double stuffing. The 4.0 is great. I put one of the BumGenius microfiber inserts and one gdiaper insert, and baby usually wakes up dry. They fit his chunky legs and tummy much better also. I should've gone with them (I also love the Flip) from the beginning instead of gDiapers. I do prefer the gcloth inserts to the BumGenius microfiber, however.

When we started CD our now almost 3-year-old, we purchased 24 3.0s. These were great, except a few of them had landing strips that started to fray. I sent them back in and they were replaced with 4.0s. This was great because my son was getting larger and I was worried about the 3.0s fitting him until potty training. Well, as many, many other reviewers have pointed out, the current hook and loop tabs are terrible. They simply don't stay together and as soon as my son moved, the diaper would fall off. I replaced them, twice, and it still wasn't working. Strangely, I did have one 3.0 that needed new tabs and I replaced them with the 4.0 hook and loop version and that diaper stayed closed. Perhaps it is the quality of the new landing strip that is the problem? In any event, I was sorely disappointed to "lose" 1/3 of my stash by these replacements. Cotton Babies, please fix this problem!

Terrible, terrible, terrible product!! What a complete waste of money!! I bought 24 of the 4.0 BumGenius hook and loop diapers and they didn't even make it through the first year. I followed all the instructions on how to use them correctly and was diligent in laundering them properly too only to have the Velcro completely wear out. It's as if the Velcro just disintegrated. Cotton Babies sent me the refresher kit but that only replaced the Velcro tabs, not all the Velcro, so that was no help at all. I would not recommend this product to anyone!! The snap diapers might be better but I'm not about to buy them to find out that they might fail as badly as the Velcro.

I have been using bumGenius diapers for over 6 years now. I have owned the 2.0s, 3.0s and am now using the 4.0s. I have stuck with bumGenius because I feel the offer an exceptional quality product that truly makes cloth diapering easier. I gave these diapers 4 stars for one reason - the "new and improved" aplix, is actually worse than the aplix on previous versions that I've used. Yes, the tabs curled on the other 2, but I didn't have to replace them until we had used them for 2-3 years. We've been using these diapers for just over 1 year, and I can't even use our aplix diapers until I replace the tabs, because they immediately come undone as soon as my daughter moves. It's very disappointing. I've also noticed that the "loop" part of the aplix is wearing down and getting major bare spots. It's happening on the tabs, laundry tabs and the front strip, which means there isn't anything for the hook part to "hook" to. I'm just glad we switched half of our stash to snaps about 5 months ago, or I wouldn't have any diapers I could use right now. Unless bumGenius switches back to the old aplix, I will not be recommending the aplix version of these diapers anymore, which is a shame because I've been recommending them for years. Overall though, I do love these diapers. They have a wonderful fit! I used them with my first daughter from 6 months to 3 years old, my second from 2 months to 2.5 years old and have been using them with my third daughter since she was a few weeks old and I expect them to also last until she potty trains. Besides those first few weeks, I find they are truly a one-size diaper!
