AWARD WINNING! bumGenius 3.0 DELUXE All-In-One Cloth Diapers 12-pack Reviews (6) Write Review Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Alexa on Monday 28 December, 2009These diapers are simply the best. I am cloth diapering my fourth son, and I keep trying to branch out into other types of diapers (at this point, I believe I have tried them all), but nothing really compares in regards to ease of use, lack of bulk, and comfort for baby. And they're cute to boot!
Along with other reviewers, I would LOVE to see these with snaps. I would also love to see them lined in microfleece instead of suedecloth. If both of those came true, I think I'd be in cloth diaper heaven!
One of the things I love about the bumGenius 3.0 AIO is that they line-dry very well. Unlike diapers with cotton in them (prefolds, fitteds, etc.), they do not get stiff or scratchy when line-dried. While I would prefer to use natural fibers, the ability to line-dry so seamlessly (we use an indoor drying rack when the weather is wet) is more important to me. We've saved money and energy this way, and I think it helps the velcro tabs hold up as well!
Happy Diapering! Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by kirsten on Wednesday 09 December, 2009 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make these in snaps! These are my favorite diapers! My daughter is just growing out of the smalls at 9 months & 18 pounds. My only problem is that the velcro tabs don't stay stuck through the wash/dry & they end up in a big chain, which ruins the velcro within a few washes. Snaps are so much better because they last! Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Katie on Tuesday 21 July, 2009 We love our AIO's! Much faster folding when you have two in diapers compared to the many one size pocket diapers that have to be stuffed. I would love, LOVE to see these with snaps though. My only complaint about the bumgenius diaper line are the velcro tabs....on all of there diapers. We love snaps as they last forever! Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by bonnie on Friday 24 April, 2009 I like them. My one complaint about cloth diapering is the bulk. These are not bulky. (maybe a little more than sposies) My son seems most comfortable in his bumgenius brand than in his prefolds with a cover or his kissaluvs contours. These do take more time to dry. I think i will stick with the one size dipes so that I can seperate the liner from the cover and allow for faster drying! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by David on Tuesday 24 March, 2009 I just received the AIO 3.0 and like how the pocket opens for any needed extra obsorbensy, I think it will make a difference on the drying time also. HOWEVER, I would like to see them make the same AIO 3.0 with snaps. I have been using the One Size 3.0 with the velcro tabs for 8 months now but even without drying the outer cover the tabs will rarely stay one the tab spot while only in the washing machine and become attached to the inserts and or the inner lining of the cover. The only other thing that bothers me about the 3.0's both AIO and One Size, is the flap I find it annoying and unnecessary.
Other than the above, I love the shape and durability of the bumgenius brand and have saved hundreds of dollars with only a little extra effort.
Hope you enjoy them too. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Bree on Friday 20 February, 2009 These are my first experience with cloth diapering and I can't tell you how much I like them! I have been trying to really securely fasten the velcro tabs during laundering to get as much life out of them as possible, and they rarely become detached in the wash. They do take a while to dry (usually two cycles) but they rarely leak and are SO easy to use. In the mornings (when my baby is likely to poop) I use the Bummis biosoft liner so that I'm never scraping poop from the diaper. They have remained stain and stink free with washing every other day. Even my 83 yr old grandmother doesn't mind using them! View all 6 reviews |
