Cotton Babies Verified PurchaseThis kit is such a great price for what you get! I use snappi fastened prefolds and covers on my son who is now 3 months old. This was one of the first purchases I made when I was considering cloth diapering before he was born. The super whisper wrap is not my favorite, it is too thick and hard, especially for a newborn. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I would go with okay. I love the prefolds, great way to start and cheap, but the bummis wraps leak all the time on my child. I've tried every adjustment I can think of, tried folding the prefolds every different way to see if that would help, but still I get leaks. I also got the ecconbum covers, they're not as cute, but they never leak. Rating:  [5 of 5 Stars!]

With the whisper wrap cover, there's no need for pins, and it velcros on just like my more expensive diapers. As my one-size diapers are wearing out (and we don't have time or skill to fix them), I'm buying more prefolds and covers to keep my babies in diapers for far cheaper than the one-size diapers. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase This was the gateway to my diaper addiction! I don't use the covers any more and I wish I had gotten the Indian instead of the Chinese prefolds but this still is a great diving board into the sea of cloth diapering. If you aren't sure where to start pick something basic and inexpensive like this or two econobum trial packs (which I like better!). We've since ...expanded our diaper stash to something more "daddy friendly" but I still love using prefolds and cover, and I owe that to this kit. Heck, I still use the infant sized prefolds! (I've since passed the small covers onto a mama friend in need)

Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I love that cottonbabies gives parents the opportunity to try cloth for such an awesome price. So far I'm loving the PF, but the cover is HUGE!!!! My daughter is 22 pounds. She would need a small not a medium cover. When I say HUGE I MEAN HUGE! And the cover just feels really hard. It looks like it's squishing all of her stomach and looks painful. Haven't decided if I'm going to return the covers for others or if I'm just going to try to sell them. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase My son is 11 months old and I really have been wanting to try cloth diapering. This "Try It" Kit was just what I needed. I orded Indian Prefolds and I love them. Using the prefolds and covers are so easy. It really gave me a sense of what cloth diapering would be like. The covers are a good start, but I found them to be a bit bulky on my son(even though they were great b/c there was NEVER one leak). I just orderd a Thirsties Cover and it is alot thinner and more comfy on my little guy. After using the try it kit you will see how easy cloth diapering is. It's not hard to wash them or put the prefolds on. The more you do it..the easier it gets. Definately get this Try It Kit if you are deciding if cloth diapering is for you and please use a good detergent like Charlies. It really makes a difference. I love the covers, love the prefolds and the Snappi is an essential in the prefold diapering household! i bought 4 or 5 of these kits for my son, a newborn one to try it out and when he got bigger the premium side prefolds (which I think are a bit big) and medium covers. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I recently purchased this kit to try cloth on my third baby. This is a great kit for the price! I love the Bummis wraps that come with it and I am a firm believer in the Snappi! My only disappointment with this kit is the prefolds. I purchased the Indian unbleached. They are of GREAT quality but the sizing is not exact. I have a 6 mos. 15-16 pound baby and the medium covers work perfectly but the premium size prefolds are still too large. I have to fold them down in the front about 3 inches when I put them on the baby (using the tri-fold method) making them very bulky especially when fitting them over her clothing. I did not try the infant size prefolds but I didn't want to get them too small. I am using these at night with doublers (1 hemp and 1 stay dry) and using the Bummis wrap with no leakings for the past 2 weeks (10-12 hours)!! I definitely recommend this kit to anyone trying out cloth but keep in mind the sizing could vary on the prefolds. I ended up buying the rest of my prefolds from another company that sizes them to fit the covers. I will however buy more of these prefolds for at night if I ever need more because they are very absorbant and thick. Also fast shipping with washing instructions in the box!! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

The prefolds were so rough at first and i kind of got disappointed because on youtube they looked totally different but after some research i came to know that's how they are till they are washed. I knew nothing about cding before I purchased this kit and now that I've gained some expirience I still use the bummis covers and unbleached indian prefolds from this kit as much as BG 3.0's. In fact, I use these at home and prefer to use them in the day time. I use BG's for out of the house and long sleep periods. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I loved this kit! The prefolds work amazingly, and I love the covers. They're not my favorite, but we've never had a leak or an explosion. They do seem a little more prone to light staining on the inside, but nothing I've ever seen on the outside.

Although I am on my 3rd child, I am completely new to cloth. I have been very pleased with this package. The price is great and I am thinking about ordering another soon. I recently purchased some contour diapers as well but have not liked them as well. They are much easier to put on (which my husband loves) but they seem to leak worse than the prefolds and they wet the cloth part of the cover around his legs. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase This kit was a great way to break into cloth diapering for us. It's a relatively low price tag and allows you to get a better idea of what it will be like. It will mostly get you through the day but it is enough to get the idea. The prefolds are really nice quality as are the bummis covers. Ultimately I ended up buying some "sized" prefolds (from another site) that fit my 6 month old better than the premiums. The premiums I need to fold in order to fit him. That said, they are great for nighttime or naptime and I've found that it's good to have variety to choose from to customize your diaper. At this point I've added a few AIO and various accessories to my stash but it still consists mainly of prefolds and this kit gets a lot of use. A good choice and a good investment. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase The "Try It" Kit is a bargain (If you add up the prices of these items individually, it's a steal).
We bought two of these, in addition to 8 more prefolds, and 12 BG.
While the BG are much easier to put on, especially with a squirmy baby, the prefolds are more economical and easier to use in the sense that you only wash and dry, no need to fold or stuff.
The quality of the prefolds from Cotton Babies is amazing. They show no sign of wear after 11 months of use.

Cotton Babies Verified Purchase We had thought about switching to CDs with baby #3 for the $aving$, so we ordered this kit in a size that would fit our 18MO to find out for sure what we were getting into. We also purchased a bumGenius one-size diaper to see how we liked that (figuring to use it for our 2-1/2 YO). We were very impressed with how easy CDing is (it's NOT your mother's way of CDing anymore) and have decided to make the switch to CD diapers exclusively!! This kit allowed us to "test drive" CDing before making the larger investment to switch over permanently. Yes, pre-washing the prefolds takes some time and seems tedious, but once it's done, they're a breeze!! Having this kit really took all the fear out of CDing and answered all our questions about what CDing is really like. I'd love to see this kit include a BG OS diaper, too!
