Flip Training Pant Side Panels

I bought the flip system in April of 2012. I had plans of using the flip diapers with these side panels. We were getting ready to start the adventures of potty training within the next 4 months and I needed these to get the job done. I happened to scroll to the bottom of the page and see the previous review about incompatibility. This is a serious disappointment.

I agree with a previous reviewer. When reading the information for the Flip Potty Trainer I could see that these are only compatible with the Trainer, and not the diapers. But you cannot tell this from reading the information for this product. So for anyone seeing this product and thinking "how cool! The bumgenius/flip system is the best ever, I don't even have to buy training pants!" this is simply not the case. You DO have to buy training pants, even though they easily could have made this compatible with the regular flip covers. This is disappointing, when cotton babies is usually so good.

I had thought these would side elastics would be compatible withe the regular flip covers and with the bum genius snaps because they are from the same maker. I was wrong. The snaps are on the side panels are all female snaps, forcing you buy their potty training cover. What a waste. It would have been so easy for them to make them compatible. They just want to get you to buy new covers. I will definitely be returning these and trying to make my own. I think its a great idea to turn the diapers you already have into pull ups but I am not wiling to by all new diapers. I am giving it 2 stars. Its a good idea but a money making gimic to make them incompatible with their popular products.
