These diapers are extremely bulky for a newborn and slightly bulky for my 22lb nine month old, but they're wonderful and of good quality. These are perfect as night time diapers; my daughter will sleep 10 to 12 hours with no leak issues (in an Econobum cover) and she drinks plenty of liquids. I also used these as burp rags when she was smaller and now use them to wipe drool, food and boogers off her. Overall these are great diapers! No pilling or any signs of wear or stains ( my daughter was exclusively breast feed and still drinks breast milk along with solids, water and juices.

I look forward to using these diapers when my daughter finally grows into them. I was under the impression that folding them width-wise would allow them to be used as one-size-fits-all, but it does not. It is too bulky to be effective or comfortable for my 6 pound newborn. Her legs are kept unnaturally wide apart and my cover is unable to seal in leaks bc the whole package is just too huge for her. Unless you have a large newborn, this is not a good choice until your baby is a bit bigger.

I am loving using cloth compared to disposables, but now that we have gotten some other prefolds (the regular size Indian cotton ones) to compare to, these are definitely our "last resort" diapers. (And they do come in handy for clean-up when our 3-year-old misses the toilet entirely!) The good: They are way more absorbent and sealed than disposables! Our kiddo sleeps about 10 hours a night, and leaks out of his disposables almost every time - we still have leaks with these, but it's down to 1 or 2 a week, and i think some of that is because we are still getting the hang of folding them. The bad: They are way bulkier, but seem to be less absorbent than the other prefolds, as well as not quite as soft. The bulk is because it is the same thickness all the way through, whereas the others have thinner edges with a thicker center. Also, these are not wide enough to go around our 20 lb 8-month-old (not a problem for us, because we just use the cover to keep it on, but would be a problem if you want to pin/snap it).

I purchased these about two weeks ago and love them for my 15 month old. They are bulky and I could not imagine them on a baby less then 20lbs to be honest. On my 22lb daughter they fit well. We use flip covers with them and have had few leaks, most user error. I am expecting twins in May and even though I love these for my 15month old I doubt I will use these the first year for my twins. I do not see how these would fit a newborn.
