Cotton Babies Verified PurchaseI have Indian prefolds, Chinese prefolds, and Econobums. Econobums are my absolute faves. If I had known then what I know now I'd have bought 24 Econobums and 6 Flip covers. Maybe 8 covers and some fleece liners. Would've saved a ton of money! They're so easy to wash and use, and I don't think they're too bulky at all! These diapers rock! I wish they were the bulk of my stash. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

All my bum genius are a leaky mess now irrespective of stripping efforts. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I got a 3 pack of these, and love them in pocket diapers at night (with hemp insert) They last much longer than microfiber. They are more bulky than regular prefolds, and I don't like them in covers. I can't get a good fold that covers and fits well. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I love the design of these prefolds, and how you can fold them in thirds the short way for smaller babies, and in half the long way for bigger babies. However I found that they were way too bulky for my 10 month old. The thickness forced his legs far apart, and looked very uncomfortable. (Not to mention he had a HUGE bottom!) I exchanged these for infant size indian prefolds, and absolutely LOVE those. They are absorbant enough, without all the bulk. If Cotton Babies would make these with one or two less layers, they'd be perfect. The exchange went without a hitch, thanks Cotton Babies! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]
Reviewed by Marisa on Wednesday 19 September, 2012 READ THIS: i have been using these off an on since my son was 4 months old(hes 26 months now), and i figured out a new way to fold them that works for us right now, fold in half long ways, then fold another in half the long ways and lay them on top of eachother with open ends on opposite sides. they make an awesome night diaper that way, and leave much more butt area to catch the poo because the prefold will fill the whole cover. note: this is what i use for the largest rise setting on the cover, probably wouldnt work for shorter rises. also these make awesome inserts for pocket diapers, just fold them to the correct fit, they absorb more than microfiber. I couldnt take her out in that. She couldnt even wear it around the house! but they r super absorbant so at night when the babies r just laying there they r awesome. but other wise they r ridiculous. worst product cottonbabies has ever put out. I love cotton babies! I love the BG and Flip lines but econobum sucks. Even the covers are getting cracks in them and i have only had them a year. and they leave bad red marks because if you dont put them toght they leak. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase These prefolds are so great folded length-wise and paired with a Flip cover. They are reasonably trim on a toddler, and more absorbent (and economical) than bumGenius. Takes a little more work than an AIO, but totally worth it in my opinion. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I LOVE the Econobum prefolds! I use them with the Flip covers and have never had a leak. They are very absorbent. When I go to change my 1 yr. old even after 3 hours they are only partially wet. I do not have to double at night or put anything extra with it. I bought these after the Bumgenius pocket diapers wore out and started leaking. These are a much more affordable option and I have had less leaks with them than with Bumgenius. I would suggest the indian prefolds on this site, which are trimmer and a much better size. I got these prefolds at different times over the past year as I've stumbled on econobum cover BOGO deals with these prefolds with them. I now use them when I need a quick changing pad or when I need something quick for a liquid spill. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

Cotton Babies Verified Purchase Love these prefolds! I have been using them for 6 months for my 10 month old. Now that he is bigger I really love to fold them in half long wise inside a flip cover. The width is perfect to cover the inside of the flip. Trifolding is too narrow to keep the PUL lining of the flip from rubbing his skin. You can't fold a normal prefolds in half or you end up with more material on one side than the other. Great absorbency, it is only partially wet when I change him. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase These Econobum prefolds are a great diaper, holding a lot. I've not had problems with them leaking at all. They are my go-to nighttime diaper for my 5 month old baby girl. (Since I have to add a liner when I use the Econobums, I prefer the convenience of a Flip insert during the day.) I use them in both Flip and Thirsties covers, and they work well in either.
They were a bit bulky when my daughter was a newborn, but they worked. Once she got to about 2 1/2 or 3 months of age, though, the Econobums fit her much better.
I'm very happy I got some of these diapers, and would get them again if I had to. They are an excellent value. I expect they will continue to be one of my favorites well into my daughter's toddlerhood. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

Cotton Babies Verified Purchase Love these! I use these in my son's pocket diapers instead of microfiber. They never hold in smells like microfiber and dry faster. I tri-fold them the long way or short way and they work GREAT. I have a heavy wetting toddler and these are always only particially wet when I change them. I've used the flip inserts as well and they don't even come close to the leak protection of Econobum. Yes, they are bulky. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase These prefolds are amazing! My son is 19 months old and has never went all night in 1 diaper without being literally dripping wet in the morning ....until now! I use BG AIO at night because they fit him the best. I have added Chinese prefolds Gerber prefolds, 4 hemp inserts at a time, I even bought a bag of disposable overnights with the same results. Now I take 2 hemp inserts folded in half, lay them in the front of an econobum prefold and stuff. Presto! My belly sleeping boy stays dry till morning even if he wakes up for a midnight snack or two. I've used many, many prefolds, inserts, doublers, fitteds, etc. and these econobum prefolds rank right up there at the top. They are a great value. I reach for these much more than my Chinese or Indian prefolds. I use them inside the pocket of my BG 4.0s and I use them with my Bumkins, Flip, Econobum and Thirsties covers.
