Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Haley on Tuesday 05 June, 2012 Cotton Babies Verified PurchaseI love these! We received on with a gift with purchase and are now so addicted. I don't leave the house with out it. They wash up so soft. I will be using these for a long time even past swaddling as a lightweight blanket. And I can't wait to try more of their products. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Ann on Tuesday 05 April, 2011 These are a fantastic size & feel. I was almost able to swaddle our 2 year old (he wanted to be wrapped like his new baby brother). We swaddled #1 until he was 12 months old - it was the only way he could stay focused enough to nurse... Wish we had had these back then. They were a great gift. Any swaddling parent's dream. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Bethany on Thursday 11 November, 2010 Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I love these. Yes, you need the four pack! We used these for over 6 months for swaddling, and after that, we used them as a light sheet for the baby in the summer or on the stroller. They are very large - so much larger than any other swaddle we tried - and these ones are also MUCH larger than the Target ones. The target ones are half or 3/4th the size, which would mean they wouldn't be useful for a baby older than a month or so. Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Courtney on Wednesday 25 August, 2010 Cotton Babies Verified Purchase They have a 4 pack of these at Target for $29.99. They feel the same, but could be lower quality, not sure. But i do feel like I got gypped for paying $20 for one!
I do love the blanket, so only giving four stars just for the price. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Stacy on Wednesday 18 November, 2009 Cotton Babies Verified Purchase This is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE baby gift to give. Every mom I've given these to tells me later how much she loves them. They are great for so many things...swaddling bigger babies, nursing cover, ground cover, sunshade, you name it. They wash beautifully and do not bind or get ragged. The prints are absolutely delightful. I receive compliments all the time on my mod prints, especially the green apple and bumblebees. You wouldn't think a blanket could be that special, but these are really wonderful! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Amber on Tuesday 20 October, 2009 We love these blankets. When my son was born in June we swaddled him every night and it helped him sleep so well, but then around 2 1/2 months he was able to unwrap himself in a regular receiving blanket. We did a little research and found these blankets, which are a little bigger than the normal ones. We have also covered him from the sun with them and used it as a nursing cover. They are truly the best blankets on the market for swaddling, and they have so many more uses. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Anne on Wednesday 14 October, 2009 I love these blankets. They are a must have for bigger babies, the receiving blankets you buy at places like Target are way too small. However, the blankets are pricey. You can get a four pack of 45"x45" for much cheaper at Target.com. I would say they are a must have. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Katherine on Wednesday 12 August, 2009 I absolutely love thse blankets and they are now the "must have" gift I get for all my friends who are expecting. I use them daily for multiple things like a stroller cover, nursing shawl, picnic blanket, floor cover and swaddler. These are a great investment!! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Christina on Friday 26 June, 2009 Cotton Babies Verified Purchase These are the best light-weight swaddling blankets around. Receiving blankets are way too small for any newborn over 7 lbs, and the rectangular shape of most receiving blankets make proper swaddling difficult with even smaller babies. But, these wraps are roomy for even a large 3 month old, and their light weight makes them ideal for the summer months. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Erin on Monday 27 April, 2009 My baby weighed over 9 pounds when he was born, and now weighs over 16 pounds at 3 months old. The large square design made these blankets the only ones we could swaddle him in; rectangular receiving blankets were a joke. They would still fit as a swaddle if he didn't learn to wiggle out of it at 2.5 months. I love how lightweight and soft they are, and they have so many great uses. These are by far my favorite baby item! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Jennifer on Saturday 27 December, 2008 These blankets are definitely worth every penny. My Mom gave us two, one single and one double layer. My husband and I prefer to swaddle our daughter in these over any other blankets or velcro swaddlers that we own. The properties of the muslin allow you to swaddle more securely, but the material is breathable and keeps baby warm without over heating. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Audrey on Tuesday 21 October, 2008 These swaddles are amazing. We ordered them when our 4 month old had outgrown her old swaddles. These are the best, they stay swaddled, are very soft and breathable, yet kept her warm and snug. Also, they work super well as blankets to take to cover the stroller. We also throw them down on the floor when she needs a place to roll around on. They fold up into small spaces to pack easily. And, they really do get softer every time you wash them. Worth every penny!! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!] Reviewed by Wendy on Thursday 11 September, 2008 I love these blankets! Although they seem expensive, they are well worth the money. They are bigger than most blankets, so they can be used to swaddle even bigger babies. I wish I would have known about these when my older two children were little. View all 13 reviews |
