Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I recently ordered 4 sets. I washed and (line) dried them once (haven't been used yet) and every single wipe is already fraying. The stitching is coming out even on the backstitched portions. I'm not sure I'll be ordering them again. I am looking forward to using them for as long as they'll last. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase Great face wipes, too thick and soft for baby bottom wipes. Of course, nothing is too great for my baby's bottom, but these were so soft and luxurious, they didn't work as well. I now use them as her face and hand wipes after meal times and they are great. Love it's thickness, gentle fabric, bright colors which are pictured, however, when I ordered I asked specifically for Pink or Red, Dark blue, teal, Purple, Orange, green, and got instead 2 greens, orange, white, light yellow ( which is not pretty at all)and teal ! I got no blue which is pictured here and my order was for a BOY! I didn't get the colors I mentioned in Customer Comments when I made an order. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase I absolutely love these wipes and keep buying more as I get more funds. I will say, however, that if you need to strip your diapers, be sure to pull your wipes out of that load. After stripping my bGs with blue Dawn dish soap, my fabs have lost all their softness! I'm so disappointed by how rough and scratchy they've become.
My mom also dislikes how thick these wipes are, saying that it's impossible to get in all of my girls' nooks and crannies. It doesn't bother me as much as it bothers her, but sometimes it is nice to have something thinner for those really nasty messes that get, um, everywhere. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

Cotton Babies Verified Purchase Work well. Only complaint is with the colors. I ordered a boy set and received orange, teal, 2 greens, white, and a light green/ yellow (ugly). I ordered a 2nd boy set thinking I'd get the blue this time and hopefully not another white or ugly light green. I got the same colors though. So now I had 4 green, 2 ugly light green, 2 white, 2 orange and 2 teal. I decided to try again and order the girl set even though I have a boy because I wanted pretty colors (especially the pink). I was disappointed again because not only did I get another white and another ugly light green but I didn't even get pink! The other colors I got were 2 purple, orange, and teal.
Bottom line: work great... Disappointed in the colors. In 3 sets, I didn't get any blue or pink but got 3 white and 3 ugly light green. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

I use them as diaper wipes with Kissaluvs diaper lotion potion and they also work well to cover up my son's "fountain" that he likes to unleash at the oh-so-appropriate time--just as a new diaper is about to go on. Also work as a great washcloth for the lil one. They work wet, dry, or with a little diaper solution sprayed on a spot (I mix Cali Baby Diaper Spray with distilled water). Unfortunately I thought I was done having children and sold them off so when I found out I was pregnant I needed new wipes and got these. WOW... these are soooooooo soft! Totally worth the extra money if you want something gentle and effective. I think the baby will actually look forward to getting cleaned up with these (in a wipes warmer for extra comfort). I cloth diapered my first baby but always used disposable wipes. The biggest hassle is of course you have to dispose of the seperately from just dropping them in the dirty pail with the diaper, which is what finally got me to invest in some cloth wipes.
I resisted cloth wipes b/c I just didn't get how to do a "system" that made them quick to use, but thank goodness a friend introduced me to her easy way. I just use my peri bottle from the hospital to squirt some water over the wipe, which I hold over the stack of other wipes while I squeeze out the extra water. Easy as pie, no mildew, special solutions or containers.
I have both these wipes and some flannel wipes and these are by far superior! Much softer, glide over little bottoms much smoother, as well as better for cleaning messes. They are much better than a baby washcloth and I have adopted a few for that use as well, too! Invest in these, they are well worth it! Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

Cotton Babies Verified Purchase These are cute and soft but the extra thickness isn't needed. I use a wipe warmer and can't fit nearly as many in the container. Cotton Babies Verified Purchase Based on the good reviews here, I purchased a set of these wipes and was excited to try them alongside my bumGenius bamboo wipes and bumGenius flannel wipes. These are definitely soft, but I found that I prefer my one-ply wipes over these two-ply wipes. I don't need the extra thickness (in fact, I prefer them to be a little thinner to get in all the nooks and crannies), and I found that I had to hold the two plys together as I wiped my baby so that they wouldn't just rub against each other. I now use them as washcloths, which is okay, but I didn't really need more washcloths so I kind of feel like I wasted my money. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

I ordered the boy color option, which meant that I got two orange cloths instead of pink. There is still a periwinkle colored cloth, just FYI!
