Reviewed by Abigail on Tuesday 20 July, 2010 I love these wipes. I decided to give them a try about 2 months ago and I have not regretted it! They are soft, very durable and always come out of the wash clean. I make my own solution with 1C water, 1Tbsp baby wash, 1Tbsp baby oil and a few drops of lavender oil and they have worked wonderfully. A dozen is plenty for my 7 month old and I plan on buying more when we have child #2. Rating:  [3 of 5 Stars!]

These are perfect though. They're really soft and wash up great. My complaint is the stupid tag! The older ones didn't come with tags on them but these did. They're horrible! I had to cut them all off. Who puts tags on wipes? I have ordered a ton of wipes over the past 2 years and never have I gotten wipes with tags on them. I just didn't get. If it weren't for the tag these would be a 5 star. Rating: [3 of 5 Stars!]

If you make the mistake of leaving the tags on (like I did) they cause the wipe to start fraying and falling apart on the edge that the tag is sewn on to. Once I realized this (and had lots of frayed wipes) I cut all the tags off and frayed edges. I expected the wipes to continue to fall apart, but they haven't - cutting the tags off resolved the issue. They do work well in the wipe warmer. I bought bamboo wipes as well and I do like those better than these. These tend to be a little slick and not grippy enough for the poo. Once these wear out I will replace them with the bamboo ones, but they aren't horrible - I will continue to use them. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

We have been using them for over a year and they have held up really well and have almost no staining. They also don't fall apart in your hand like disposable wipes. I had to spend about 30 minutes very meticulously cutting off the tags when we first got them. Please find some other way! There are one or two wipes of the 2 dozen we purchased that are fraying a little tiny bit, but I am not bothered by it. Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!]

I washed them with the tags on and 3 of them frayed at the tag and started to fall apart. They are very soft and absorbant though. I will be ordering 2 more dozen despite the tag issue. Be sure to use scissors to cut the tag off or just leave it on. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

Reviewed by Amber on Friday 19 March, 2010 before my son was born we bought 4 dozen of these and in the beginning they were not very soft or absorbent, but just like other flannel products the more you wash them the softer and more absorbent they get. we love these wipes and will never do disposable ones again. I like how I can put at least 24 in my wipes warmer, folded like disposables along each side & they pop up with no problems. When one side is empty I can just add in another bunch. In regards to absorbency they can be a little difficult at first. I find that mixing the solution & soaking the wipes before putting them into the warmer works much better. I generally only have to use one wipe for each diaper change. Overall, a good investment. Rating:  [2 of 5 Stars!]
Reviewed by Nina on Tuesday 16 February, 2010 I am rather disappointed with these wipes. I really wish you would bring back the bamboo cotton wipes you originally had. I love those. I just got 2 dozen of these because I needed to beef up my supply, but the quality just doesn't measure up. First of all I would like to request that the tags not be attached they way they are, there must be a way attach them that make them easier to remove. I was removing the tags on the batch I just bought and I tugged a bit too hard on one and the whole seam on that spot tore off. And it doesn't absorb well, to the point where I have folded them and placed them in the warmer and when I add water the water just spills off and the wipes stay dry. Please, please, please bring back the bamboo cotton wipes. I would really appreciate that! and please keep in mind that perhaps the tags could be replaced by a strip that goes around the whole pack like the way the diapers come with a paper strip around the diaper and inserts. When I used disposable wipes with my daughter I used to use at least 2 wipes per change especially with poop but with these, I only need one.
Unfortunately, when I ripped off the tags on a number of the wipes, it tore the serged edge so they unraveled a little. Next time I'll cut them off with scissors. Rating: [5 of 5 Stars!]

They are very soft--so much better than the disposables--and the perfect size. I started using them with a wipes solution, but now I just use plain water in a wipes warmer, and they work very well, and super cheap! I agree that you should cut the tags off. Reviewed by Ryan on Friday 01 January, 2010 This is my third purchase of these wipes. The wipes are very soft, the edges don't fold, and they wash great. I did get a pack of 12 free wipes with one of my purchases and those 12 were horrible, unabsorbant, rough, and the edges folded over. However, I have a feeling that bum Genius / cotton babies was experimenting with fabrics for their wipes and was giving away some rejects because I ordered some more wipes after receiving those freebies, and the wipes they sent me were the same soft wipes as my other 2 orders. The only difference with the latest version is that every wipe has an annoying Cotton Babies tag on it. But, they perform well and the tags are easily cut off. So, don't be afraid of the bad reviews below because those were the result of the freebies that Cotton Babies had been including with their orders which don't represent the actual wipes that you order.
