Introducing Diaper Grants for Missionaries!
Diaper Grants for Missionaries is a practical way
that we can support missionary families with small chidren. This program will provide diapers free of charge to certain number of qualifying missionary families every year.
Applicant Requirements
The family must be able to prove that they are actively involved in international missions work, have a sponsoring organization, pastoral recommendation, demonstrate need, and be expecting or have one child under six months old. Pregnant applicants should be at least 20 weeks pregnant at the time of application. If you are not yet overseas, your travel plans must have been secured for your permanent overseas destination.
How You Can Help
If you would like to donate diapers towards the Diaper Grants for Missionaries program, please let us know. We're happy to take donations of gently used diapers of any kind. Please be sure that the items you are sending are stain-free and in good condition. Out of respect for these families, please don't send anything that you would be embarrassed to give to a friend.

Why Do We Do This?
We want to give in a practical way towards the ministries of people who are giving their life to strategically spread the gospel among the unreached. The Diaper Grant for Missionaries is a practical way that we can make a positive impact on a missionary family's life on an ongoing basis.
How To Apply
Diaper Grant Applications will be taken via email. If you'd like to apply, please email your responses to the following questions to diapergrants@cottonbabies.com:

- Domestic Address
- International Address
- Sending Organization Name and Address
- Sponsoring Church Address
- Pastor's Name (from Sponsoring Church)
- Pastor's Phone Number (an email address is not sufficient)
- May we contact your pastor and sponsoring organization to obtain a reference and to verify the information in this application?
- Length of time at current post
- Do you consider this a permanent assignment? If not, then why and when do you expect your assignment change?
- Tell us about your family. What are the ages and weights of the child/children you are diapering? If pregnant what is your due date?
- If pregnant, are you staying overseas after your child is born?
- What is your vision for your outreach?
- What country are you in?
- How did you choose that country?
- Why do you want to use cloth diapers?
- Do you have the facilities to care for the diapers (washer OR sink/clothes-line)?
- Would you give us permission to post a photo and brief bio about your outreach on our website?
- Due to extremely high international shipping costs, we are unable to ship diaper grant packages to international addresses. Please provide a U.S. shipping address where we can ship your diaper grant package. This can be anyone who will forward the package to you (consider a family member, church office or your sending organization) or may be able to bring it to you in their luggage.

Nigeria - John and Melissa Camiola are serving in Nigeria and eager to assist with the AIDS and orphan crisis. They received a Diaper Grant in the third quarter of 2007.
Malaysia - James and Susan Allen serve in Malaysia and received a Diaper Grant in the third quarter of 2007.

Croatia - Daniel and Danielle Harman live with their family in Croatia and work with college students. They received a Diaper Grant in the first quarter of 2007.
In the first quarter of 2007 diapers were sent to a family working in Southeast Asia.
Thailand - Aua and Renee Treeyanon serve in Thailand and received diapers for their new baby in the first quarter of 2007.
St. Louis, Missouri - In the first quarter of 2007 18 expectant mothers in crisis situations received baby carriers to help them to bond with their coming blessings.
2006
Thailand - Tim and Rhianna Mills who plant churches in Bangkok, Thailand received diapers in early 2006.
Burkina Faso - In the second quarter of 2006, Cotton Babies donated to the Sheltering Wings orphanage in Burkina Faso, Africa money used to buy for milk to feed the babies in the orphanage for six months.
Rwanda - In the second quarter of 2006 Travis and Astrid Withrow minister who minister to survivors of genocide in Rwanda received enough diapers for their newborn baby, Jasmin, and their newborn adopted daughter, Yaida. Both babies are cloth diapered and breastfed!

In the third quarter of 2006 a Diaper Grant was provided for a family ministering to those suffering from addiction, poverty, and under education.
Taiwan - Ryan and Heidi Aikins are studying language in Taipei, Taiwan and received a Diaper Grant in the third quarter of 2006.

Argentina - Sergio and Pamela Orellano work with Youth with a Mission in Argentina and received diapers for their new baby girl, Shana, in the third quarter of 2006.

Scotland - Daniel and Andrea Petersen serve along with their four children in Glasgow, Scotland and received a Diaper Grant in the third quarter of 2006.
Haiti - In the fourth quarter of 2006 diapers were sent to a set of malnourished one year old twin boys, Givens and Givenson, in Haiti. Thankfully, these babies are receiving help through the Nutrition program at a mission’s organization near them.
Ethiopia - Steve and Dorothea Limiero serve in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and received a Diaper Grant in the fourth quarter of 2006.
Botswana - Kevin and Sarah Witt serve in Maun, Botswana and received a Diaper Grant in the fourth quarter of 2006.
Albania - Chris and Amy Harth serve in Albania and received a Diaper Grant in the fourth quarter of 2006.
Central Asia - In the fourth quarter of 2006 diapers were sent to a family in Central Asia.

2005
Burkina Faso - In early 2005 the first supply of cloth diapers, diaper covers, and snappis to cloth diaper 12 babies under the age of two was sent to the Sheltering Wings Orphanage in Burkina Faso, Africa.
Burkina Faso - In spring of 2005 a supply of another 300 diaper covers was sent to the Sheltering Wings Orphanage in Burkina Faso, Africa.
Kenya - Jon and Amanda Fielder work in a medical hospital in Kijabe, Kenya with HIV/AIDS patients and received a diaper grant in Spring 2005.

In the second quarter of 2005 a Diaper Grant was given to a family ministering in a Maternity home for women dealing with crisis pregnancies in Northern Africa.
In the second quarter of 2005 diapers were sent to a family ministering to university students in Asia.
Louisiana - Thanks to the combined generosity of several of our vendors (Mother of Eden, Bummis and DiaperRaps), Cotton Babies was able to donate cloth diaper packages for 59 babies in southern Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina.
Burkina Faso -During the third quarter of 2005 several hundred diaper covers were sent to the Sheltering Wings Orphanage in Burkina Faso, Africa. Hand washing EVERYDAY wears the diaper covers out!
India - In the fourth quarter of 2005 a Diaper Grant was sent to a family working in India.
Thailand - In the fourth quarter of 2005 we sent diapers to Allan and Joane Brown who minister with their five children in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Ethiopia - Jake and Erin Moore plant churches in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and received a Diaper Grant in the fourth quarter of 2005.

2004
Mexico - Barri and Annemarie who minister at a Children’s Home in Reynsa, Mexico with their children Noella Joy and Ian received a Diaper Grant in 2004.
Indonesia - Mike and Libby Wild are in language study in Salatiga, Java of Indonesia with their four children and received a Diaper Grant in 2004.
