Thursday Giveaway: Real Diaper Week 2016
April 14, 2016 10:52 am | by
thumbnail-3

The countdown is ON! Real Diaper Week kicks off Saturday, April 23, and it all begins with the Great Cloth Diaper Change! Each year, we get so excited about Real Diaper Week because we get to partner with parents, retailers and manufacturers around the globe to spread more awareness around cloth diapering. Cloth diapers are a practical way to save money and reduce landfill waste, but not only that, they’re a solution to a growing problem in today’s society: diaper need. That’s why we think it’s important to share the benefits of cloth diapers and show more families that they are an everyday option.

Thursday Giveaway: April Fools!
April 1, 2016 12:23 pm | by

The title of this giveaway is a bit misleading because it’s Friday (YAY!). You probably know by now that we normally host our giveaways every Thursday. But since it’s April Fools’, we decided to pull a fast one on you and switch things up a bit. Or maybe we just had a super-fun little joke in the works.  Everyone makes mistakes, and luckily, we just so happened to make one around April Fools’ Day! Our newest print, Accidental, is just that — an accident. Who knew there is a correct way to spell the word CRESCENDO when referencing music?! In

Introducing an Accidental Genius

The story behind our accidental genius is an interesting one to tell. It’s a musical print featuring Latin musical expression terms… called Giovanni… that…. wait… well… hmm… now what? Now, pretend you’re sitting with me as I worked on a description of this really fun, new print…. We’re shouting FORTE Dancing LEGATO… Jumping for joy STACCATO… If you’re a musician, typing those words might make you smile… Because it all culminates with a beautiful cressendo! Wait! Why does spellcheck keep saying this word is not correct… Hang on – Let me go and… google it… OH NO! CRESCENDO! Not CRESSENDO! Life just went

Real Mom Talk: First Family Vacation
March 31, 2016 7:55 pm | by

We took our first family vacation last summer. Lola was 10 months old and we went to the lake for the the Fourth of July. Prior to this, we made many long road trips back and forth to my parents’ house, but this was different because our cabin wasn’t prepped ahead of time with baby gear. Lola sleeps much better in a very dark room, so we created a makeshift canopy with a comforter and some telescoping pole devices my husband found. We had to roll across two beds ninja style to get to the bathroom while she was sleeping to avoid destroying the contraption. I

Natural Nipple Butter Review

Before I was even pregnant with my son, I started switching up some of the products we used in our home. One of the biggest changes was with personal hygiene products. When I started doing my research, I found Earth Mama Angel Baby was exactly what I was looking for! All products are certified organic, GMO-free and 100% natural. I first tried the soap. Then, I started using the tea. I later fell in love with the Happy Mama Spray, grabbed some of Baby Bottom Balm and Mama Bottom Spray. Then lastly, I decided to try the Nipple Butter. When

Real Mom Talk: Morning Routine
March 28, 2016 5:21 pm | by

Since I had my little guy, my morning routine has really simplified and the time it takes for me to get ready has significantly reduced. In 15 minutes or less, I’m ready to walk out the door. It’s not that I let myself go, I just have become a little more comfortable with just being myself … and more health conscious of what I’m putting on my face, body and hair. After having a little one and looking back, I often cringe on the money and time I wasted on harsh beauty products that didn’t do my body a

Genius Series T-shirt Review
March 20, 2016 7:18 pm | by

First things first: Why are Genius Series T-shirts only available for babies?! Sometimes, I just want to rock my favorite cloth diaper prints, too! Genius Series T-shirts are made for babies six months and up. Jackson is just starting to fit into 6-month clothing so this shirt still has some room for him to grow into, but that’s okay — he just gets to wear it longer that way! Like most T-shirts, I expected this one to shrink a bit. In actuality, it didn’t shrink much at all, which is even better when it comes to children’s clothes.  The Genius Series T-shirts match Jackson’s cloth diapers
