CONTEST: Second Annual Cotton Babies Virtual Stroller Parade
August 14, 2012 5:16 pm | by

Maybe you’ve already heard about the Cotton Babies Stroller Parade event coming to Cotton Babies stores this weekend. Don’t live near a Cotton Babies store? Don’t worry! We have the same great prizes reserved for our online customers who want to participate in our virtual stroller parade.

So, what exactly does this mean?! It means we want you decorate your stroller like a parade float then dress up your family in a fun, creative way and join us as we march down the sidewalk! Or, in some cases, your driveway 😉

For our online customers:

To participate in the Cotton Babies Virtual Stroller Parade, create your own stroller float at home, take some photos and submit up to 3 photos in the comments below this post or by using the #CBStrollerParade hashtag on Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest or your other favorite social media. To check to make sure your photo is entered, please visit THIS Pinterest board. Only photos visible on this Pinterest board are officially entered and will be eligible for the prizes. Make sure your photos are public so our judges can view your entry.

Grand prize in our online stroller parade is a 12 pack of cloth diapers any combination or bumGenius, Flip, or Econobum. Second place is a 6 pack of 6 cloth diapers and third place is a 3 pack of cloth diapers in any combination bumGenius, Flip, and Econobum

Live near St. Louis, MO or Vancouver, WA?

The Second Annual Cotton Babies Stroller Parade begins at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday, August 18, 2012.

Need a little inspiration? Check out our Facebook albums from last year’s St. Louis and Vancouver stroller parades.

Prizes will be awarded to the families with the most decorative strollers. AND, if you register in advance, you are automatically entered for a chance to win a 3-pack of bumGenius Freetime cloth diapers! Register for the Vancouver, WA parade here and the St. Louis, MO parades here.

Entries must be posted online no later than 11:59 p.m. PST Sunday, August 26, 2012. Winners will be notified via e-mail no later than Friday, August 31, 2012. U.S. Residents only. Void where prohibited by law. No purchase necessary to win.

I uploaded 3 pictures of our decorated stroller as well, but I am also a little confused as to whether I did it right! So to make sure I will e-mail you the pics at the e-mail you listed above. Thanks for this fun challenge our family enjoyed the entire project – thinking of an idea while reading, making costumes, decorating our “float” and having our photo shoot. We even had extended family come to see our final project and Grandma was in our pictures!

I uploaded 3 pictures of our stroller “float” to Pinterest and used the #CBStrollerParade hashtag, but I don’t see my pictures on the board to be judged. I thought I might not have done it right, so I put one of them on Facebook with the hashtag and tagged Cotton Babies, but it’s not on the Pinterest board either. Is there something else I need to do?

I will leave behind my baby and big kid with my big husband and flew away to New York City for five glorious and exhausting days. However, I’m convinced that the five days leading up to leaving may be more exhausting than the five days I actually spend in New York. (That city makes me SO TIRED.) My husband works full time and I know he doesn’t have time to cook, clean, organize and run the house the way I do, not because he’s incapable, but because he’s gone 9 hours a day and doesn’t witness how I do a majority of things.
