Thursday Giveaway: Welcome 2016
January 6, 2016 8:24 pm | by

thumbnail2016 is here! And with the new year comes change. If you’re resolving to save money, take a trip, use more eco-friendly products or live healthier in 2016, cloth diapers can help. Here are just a few reasons why:

  • Most parents who use cloth diapers can save up to $1,200.
  • You can reduce 1 ton of landfill waste (per kid) by skipping out on disposables.
  • Cloth diapers put your money back where it belongs, and allow you to save for that family vacation or major purchase.
  • Stop worrying about what’s on your baby’s bottom — cloth is a much friendlier option than disposables, especially for babies with sensitive skin.

Since it’s a new year, we want to make sure more people meet their resolutions. Two people will win three bumGenius, Flip or Econobum diapers. To enter, tell us how you think cloth diapers can help you accomplish your goals in 2016.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Eligible entries must be posted no later than midnight Eastern time, Thursday, January 14, 2016. U.S. residents only. Void where prohibited by law. No purchase necessary to win. Winners will be drawn after the close of the contest and notified via email. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. We hereby release Facebook of any liability. All prizes must be claimed within 30 days of end of giveaway.

Big goals for 2016! Stay on budget, start and continue a college fund for our new little one, stay on a healthy track in all areas of our lives, and provide the best for our little one. Cloth diapering helps in all these areas! I’m loving cloth diapers and I’m so glad I made the choice to go cloth!

I want to be able to lower our bills so I can be a stay at home mom for my boy and spend the most time with him teaching him well. Also I can’t begin to think of the waste if I used disposables, to my bank account and to the world.

Cloth diapering will help us eliminate the amount of trash we through away each week. Between recycling, composting, buying less, buying in bulk and and going reusable (yay cloth!) we’re hoping to eliminate most of our trash output 🙂

Cloth diapers can help me achieve so many of my goals! Financially, we are trying to save up for an addition so that our little guy can have his own room (hopefully to be shared with a sibling soon!), and cloth diapers help us to save money. They will also help me to teach my children to build a culture that produces less waste by focusing on quality, reusable products that are built to last!

My 2016 goals are to live a better life. That means doing what is right instead of what is easy. I want to be a good example for my daughter and be the example for my family. They all thought I was crazy to want a drug free, natural birth, they also thought I was nuts when I said I was cloth diapering. So far I am doing it the economical way with prefolds because of our financial struggles but if I were to win some cloth diapers I can show them that they are much better for the wallet and the environment! To change the world it starts at home and I want my daughter to see that. 🙂

Cloth diapering is helping me save money so I can spend more on things we need and not full our landfill. I recycle EVERYTHING, it is very important to me. Not only does it help me feel good about being environmentally responsible, it helps me get more sleep because my daughter isn’t leaking at night, so we both can get more sleep.

Of course, saving money is a MUCH added bonus! way more economical to do cloth diapers, the only other economical way would not be using diapers at all!

My only goal in 2016, and in every other year, is to be the best mom I possibly can, and a better mom than I was the year before. Cloth diapers help me do that in the obvious ways, saving the environment, better for baby, etc. but they’ve also help me to be a better mom in ways that I could never have anticipated.

The cloth diapering community is one of the nicest, most selfless ones I have ever had the privilege to be a part of. These wonderful people have inspired me, bolstered me, and shown me better a way (not just in diapering) so many more times than I can count already, and I’ve only been a part of it for a few months. I also take so much joy in my daughter’s fluffy little bum that it spills over into the rest of my life, so not just my daughter, but my son and husband also benefit from cloth diapering.

Those are the big things, the ones that shout themselves from the rooftops, but I’m sure I’m forgetting a million other little ways that choosing cloth has made me a better mom. As a parent you’re constantly second guessing yourself (should I have breastfed longer? co-slept? not co-slept? introduced solids sooner? or later? and on and on and on) but from the get-go I knew that cloth was the right choice, and I have yet to find a reason to doubt that.
