We do not recommend using a sanitize setting for your bumGenius, Flip and Econobum brand cloth diapers. Although your washing machine manufacturer may suggest the sanitize cycle for cloth diapers, they make this recommendation based on an older style of cloth diaper, such as a prefold, rather than modern cloth diapers. Sanitize cycles on newer washing machines super heat the water within the machine, raising it above our suggested washing temperature.
